A lot of horrer but still interesting. Most of the facts are well now but in the invirement of the camp its real. The driver whas very helpful and did guide us on the way to the camp about many things along the road.
Everything about this day trip was great and at a valuable price. Fantastic host and guide. Highly recommend!
Interesting and thought provoking visit.
Excellent guide. Brought home the scale of events. Glad I made the trip.
It was interesting, Rocky surface so wear trainers. The minibus picked us up and gave us a sandwich, snack and drink which was great as it was early I didn’t have time for breakfast
Very well organized by the tour operators. Communication was good, a day before we were informed about our pickup time and location. Jakob and his colleague were very helpful, the drive was comfortable to and fro. The packed veg lunch included a bottle of water, sandwich and cookies. The memorial itself is a must visit and I highly recommend this tour if you don't want to drive yourself.
Great and informative tour of Auschwitz, your around both camps and amazing insight into the history of the site.
Fantastic tour, well organised, experienced and knowledgeable guide and using the right tone, which is actually very important
Overall great trip. Myself and my partner booked this trip approximately 15 hours before we went, it was confirmed within 1 hour of booking and a driver collected us from the hotel we were staying. We were taken to Auschwitz in a private vehicle being us 2 and the driver. Upon arriving we joined a group with a very knowledgeable English speaking tour guide. After Auschwitz tour we were taken to Birkenau for the second part of the tour and given a lunch bag with sandwich, biscuit and water. After Birkenau tour we were dropped at a location of our choice in Kraków. Very efficient I would highly recommend.
An amazing guide, that had emotion in his words, he made the whole experience, some thing I will never forget, thank you
The film on the journey very informative . The guide at the camp was very good . It was a very moving . Well worth a visit
The tour was exellently run from start to finish. The driver was very curtious and on time. Lunch was provided and was very fresh. The guide in both camps (same person) was very knowledgeable, and respectful. Obviously this is a tour of an historic site where horrendous,sub-human and barbaric acts occured and it was treated that way. Something everyone should see, young and old.
Trip was really good the van was pontual there was no delays , the guide was great, her explanation was really good and clear.
Our tour guide was really informative of the whole tour and really glad we booked it through here. The pick up was on time and was super easy and good you get lunch included. Would definitely recommend!
The guide was very good very clear voice walked us at a good pace.
cafe at Birkeneu a rip off with having to pay for milk I tea!!
This was a very educational visit and our tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative.
Minor criticism is that lunch was rushed as packages were provided to guests prior to transit from Auschwitz to Birkenau giving you less than 5 minutes to enjoy tasty food provided.
This tour was well organised from beginning to end. Pick up on time, nice friendly driver. Excellent tour guide around the museum. Lunch box was included, very good and umbrellas provided. Would recommend wrapping up very warm and water proof footwear if you visit in the winter, very exposed area,so very cold. I highly recommend this tour.
Extremely well organised. Our driver was courteous and charming and our tour guide was informative and extremely sensitive. He was lovely . The packed lunch provided was delicious with beautifully made rolls. Fantastic experience all round.
Incredible experience, the guide tour was fantastic, I recomende this company for who wanna go to Auschwitz!
Firstly the tour bus was very nice and comfortable and lunch box they provided (don’t forget to confirm you want it) was a tasty surprise.
The tour itself? The guide was fantastic. She was very knowledgeable and she led the tour around Auschwitz-Birkenau very well. It was a sobering experience. We’d definitely recommend them.
Our driver Tom was awesome. Picked us up right on time and was extremely flexible and informative. The tour of Auschwitz-Birkenau was extremely moving and the guide was also extremely informative. I would recommend the private driver/tour for all groups large and small.
We booked a last minute trip to Auschwitz because our other local tour operator canceled our first and our second booking. They said the museum was closed, which wasn't true.
Viator arranged a very quick and simple booking for us. The one picking us op, Martin and the bus driver were both very kind. The museum guide, Mihou I believe he was called, was very nice and told us a lot during the tour. He wasn't a native speaker, but he did his very best to speak English to the best of his ability. We were lucky as there were barely any visitors due to an event for the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the camp. It is a shocking experience, though the world has to know about the atrocities that took place.
The tour was excellent, very humbling and a surreal experience. The tour guide was very knowledgable and passionate. Would highly recommend
It was an interesting journey of the past that will make us wonder the cruelty of the Germans. Praying for the victims that their souls rest in peace.
Short coach bus was timely and contriv comfortable. Tour guide was fantastic. If you are visiting from the US and staying in Krakow this is a great way to go.
Whether you're interested in history or not, I would highly recommend this tour.
I was collected from the agreed location promptly by a friendly driver and tour guide. The journey to Auschwitz was smooth and took just over an hour.
We had the same guide for both Auschwitz and Birkenau camps. He told the sobering story of life in the two camps with genhine passion and dignity. I liked how in some of the more sombre places (gas Chambers, shooting wall, etc.), he muted his microphone out of respect for the 1.1 million people killed there.
Unlike some other reviews, I didn't feel rushed between the exhibits and there was plenty of opportunity to collect thoughts, ask questions and take photographs.
Thank you to all involved for this memorable experience.
It's very hard to imagine the horrors that went on at Aufchwitz.
It is very upsetting to think of the suffering and cruelty the prisoners had to endure.
An excellent tour and a very informative guide.
Unfortunately the day of our trip was interrupted by angela merkels visit . Our visit to Birkenau only lasted 40 minutes .we did not have the full tour. Our tour guide and our driver were very apologetic and very helpful .Otherwise we really enjoyed our experience.
Very well organised and informative trip to both camps. Guide Francesco was knowledgable and paced the tour well to give everyone a chance to read through the information in both museums.
Pick up on time and fast transfer and good communication with time to get refreshments and comfort breaks along the way. Would thoroughly recommend this trip if you are planning on visiting Auschwitz
Nothing to complain about, easy to book, verry good trancfer and guide.
A memorable vissit. Gonna use Viator next time in Krakow to the saltmines.
The trip was well organised , coach was on time and immaculate
The tour guide was fab spoke great English and answered any questions asked
