This tour felt like a waste of money. Our tour guide had 3 other companions in the car who didn't do anything but observe us the entire time. Our guide rarely gave us any information about Athens or locations we were visiting, and spent most of the time either talking with his companions or not speaking at all. He was very nice but I did not see what we were paying for other than being picked up and dropped off at several locations since he never stuck around and we still had to purchase tickets. I could've just bought tickets to the attractions and would've had the exact same experience. My biggest issue was that this is billed as a “private” tour and that was not my experience. My biggest issue was that this is billed as a “private” tour and that was not my experience. I booked a tour for two, but we were placed with another couple unexpectedly. When it says “up to 16” I was under the impression that was the size limit of the group you could book. Apparently it meant “up to 16 in your group” - which isn’t a huge issue unless you think you’re booking a private tour. The guides, while very friendly and knowledgeable, are not licensed, which means they cannot accompany you into the Acropolis or other historical sites. Essentially, what you’re getting is a semi-private transport to the places listed. Once you get to the historical sites, you’re on your own.We would like to thank ethereum in Greece 🇬🇷 travel for a fantastic experience,we did a day tour to Athens and it was an awesome experience the driver was very kind and a good person.
