Very easy slow hike/walk for most. Some step steps. Appreciated the walking sticks provided. Offered water (bring your bottles to fill) but did not see the beers listed as “included”. Our guide was very informative and passionate about the area, history, and would recommend!

Day was rainy and cloudy. We didn’t see the volcano. Don’t recommend if there isn’t nice weather. Carlos, the guide, was great.

The tour included a walk through the rainforest with knowledgable guide, Carlos. He explained some of the flora and fauna, and helped with spotting wildlife, including lizards and a snakle coiled around a tree branch. We then did a hike on lava up to a view spot. As I rounded the corner, a gorgeous view of the Arenal volcano was right before me. Carlos was great with answering my questions on the wildlife and volcano, as well as allowing me some extra time climbing some parts of the hike. I'd recommend the tour, particularly for people who like wildlife, hiking, and volcanos.

Our tour guide Pèpe was excellent the entire tour. I got a little altitude sickness and he was able to assist as we returned back to the starting point. The walk up to the lookout point was not too bad.

Carlos was an amazing guide who gave us a private tour around the volcano. Excellent knowledge and a keen eye for spotting wildlife. The hike wasn't too taxing despite a hangover, but relaxing in the hot springs with a coco loco afterwards was a real treat. Would definitely recommend.

Our tour guide Kristel was very motivated and full of knowledge. She showed us a lot of aspects of the nature during the tour of the hanging bridges. We learned a lot about the plants and the animals there.

This was the best tour on our vacation. Kristel was amazing and informative. We met her in town, and she arranged two full days of adventure for us. She even took action, when one activity took a little too long, so it nearly overlapped with the next. It was all arranged perfectly. I would highly recommend her.

I would like to recommend in choosing Carlos Salas from Caribbean Winds to get to know Costa Rica. He was a very knowledgeable guide who provided a lot of information about Costa Rica. I did the Tour With Caribbean winds to the hike to the volcano where we could observe a lot of nature, the guide was very excellent, he taught us a lot about Costa Rica, the activity of the volcanoes, the history of the Arenal volcano since 1968, The Tour was very educational, excellent quality of guide Carlos Salas Montiel I do not regret anything 100% recommended.

Arenal Volcano hike was so much fun. We got to see so much on the hike and got see the volcano in all her glory! You get an amazing view. Carlos was extremely knowledgable about the trail and all the plants and animals. He pointed out so many things. We heard howler monkeys not far from us, got to see a lot of different bird species, The hike is nice, not too strenuous. Definitely reccommend checking this tour out!

We booked three tours. A night walk, a hike on the Arenal Volcano (through the rainforest) and a hike to Rio Celeste. The guide picked us up on time from our hotel and already on the outward journeys our guide, Carlos, told us a lot about the nature as well as flora and fauna. On the hikes themselves, our guide took a lot of time to show us the beauty of nature. He also showed us animals that we would not have seen at first. We had three wonderful, exciting and adventurous tours. We especially enjoyed the hike at Arenal Volcano. It was a unique atmosphere to walk through the rainforest during heavy rainfall. We felt in very good hands and had a great time with our guide. We would recommend all these tours with Carlos to anyone as he is is very knowledgeable about Costa Rica.

We booked 4 tours with Carlos in La Fortuna. I can't express enough how incredible Carlos was. Not only were the tours amazing but Carlos was so knowledgeable and delightful. I couldn't have asked for a better experience in La Fortuna. The tours were incredible and breathtaking. Carlos would point out things I never would have thought about and would provide pineapples during our break to eat. He increased my understanding of nature, Costa Rican culture, and volcanos. He even took my partner and I to a hot spring and brought pizza. He is so personal and shows you a great time. I definitely recommend Carlos as your tour guide. You will be 100% satisfied!!! You won't regret it!! I guarantee you!!!!

One word... AMAZING!! Carlos and his company Caribbean winds is everything you need and want in adventure and fun while in Costa Rica. An experience within an experience. Carlos made every trip we booked with him personal and exciting and his knowledge of the animals and surrounding areas and plants shows how much he cares about his job and his customers. From jumping into the water to slow the boat down so we can see all the animals, fresh pineapple on the riverside to relax and watch the monkeys and sloths. We hired Caribbean Tours for a guided hike and a safari float. Sender was our guide for the hike to the hanging bridges. The hike was amazing but Sender made it even better! He pointed out wildlife that we would have never noticed. He was full of information about plant species, animal species, and general information about the area. He was super nice and professional as well. He really made our hike special. For our safari float, we were blessed with Carlos for our guide. He was equally as amazing! He took so much time to explain things. At one point he jumped out of the float to secure us to the bank so we could observe howler monkeys! He is full of knowledge about the area’s plant and animal species. He went above and beyond to make sure we saw the animals we wanted to see. I would highly recommend hiring this company for private tours.

Carlos ist eine sehr angenehme sympatische Person. Er ist 100% auf uns eingegangen, weiss viele Infos über Natur, Vulkan und Tiere. Der Abschluss im Termalitas war einfach herrlich.

Die Tour ist zu 100% weiterzuempfehlen. Carlos hat uns sehr viel gezeigt und erzählt und man merkt, wie sehr im die Natur am Herzen liegt.
