Fernando was great very knowledge about the volcano tour and Hot Springs tour. Really enjoyed it food was delicious at the restaurants that we went to.

This is an incredible excursion. Ken, our guide and Randi, our driver made the trip extra special. It was such a wonderful way to experience so much of what makes Costa Rica special. Even though it is a very long day, the itinerary is perfectly timed with get care so we never felt rushed. The things we saw and experienced are so numerous, but some of the highlights were seeing a mama and baby sloth along the side of the road. Ken volunteered to video the site with our phones. It was such a a special moment and I will cherish rewatching it over and over. We also loved the hot springs, the coffee farm, the visit to the iguana sanctuary, and the chance to see so many birds and other great sites. This combined with Ken's educational (and hilarious) commentary made this tour one to remember. Highly recommended.

Our tour guide Ken was outstanding in that it was very responsive to the group needs as well as individuals. At all times I felt as if it was a private tour instead of a group tour and the places we visited were all great stops to understand the local culture and cuisine. We enjoyed our time on this tour and especially with tour guide. Ken that we booked two more tours while we were on this one. I can't think of a high er recommendation than that. Look no further. Book this tour and any other tours this company offers. Both my wife and I came away with a good feeling for Costa Rican culture and life in Costa Rica. Fernando the tour guide and our driver made the experience one of a kind with his knowledge of Costa Rica history, pride in the country, humor and kindness to tourists and countrymen alike. This tour has so many great stops (and picturesque instagram worthy views) that it feels by the end of the day you’ve spent 3 days touring.

Don't miss this tour! Our tour guide, Ken, and driver, Randy, were exceptional and bent over backwards to ensure we had an unforgettable experience. Ken was informative, funny, and great spotting wildlife. Randy is an excellent driver and navigated the crazy, windy roads with great skill. It is a long day, but so worth it. We saw sloths, toucans, iguanas, and lots more. It was a really well timed tour with lots of variety of sites (coffee farm, iguana sanctuary, hot springs, waterfall, indigenous presentation) and great food (multiple options to try local snacks/drinks, and two generous, tasty meals) . A couple of things to keep in mind, the temperature fluctuates a lot so bring layers and a rain jacket. It's a long day and you will probably take lots of pictures and videos, so bring a back up battery for your phone, Just book it-you won't regret it.

This experience is a fun, cultural filled day that was the most enjoyable of our time in country, We experienced local food, saw toucans, sloths, and iguanas. Stopped at an amazing waterfall and La Fortune was great. Kenneth and Randy were a great team in leading the tour.

Agustin and Werner were absolutely amazing. Werner drove exceptionally throughout, even including the weather. He was extremely nice and pleasant despite me not speaking much Spanish. He also had a great eye to spot wildlife and things. Agustin was extremely communicative and accommodated what people wanted within the confines of what was ok. Gave us a lot of information, helped us spot a sloth, macaws, toucans, iguanas and amazing views. Super nice guy and perhaps the best tour guide I've ever had.

We had a wonderful experience. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, he took us to various places: coffee plantation, we saw a wild life in their habitats and we ate delicious food (lunch and dinner) We also relaxed in the Hot Springs and we were able to take a memorable pictures in front of the Arenal Volcano.

Christian and Harlem were amazing guides. Safe trip, pointed out Tucans, lots of birds, sloths and nature. Very good trip.

One of the BEST tours we’ve been on! Our guide Harlem was amazing! His passion for what he does shined thru, throughput the entire tour. The tour was well paced and very enjoyable. Harlem was very knowledgeable and was able to help spot sloths, monkeys, and different birds as we traveled from one event to the next. Our driver, I believe his name was Will or Wilbur, was just as amazing. He was also personable and got us safely from one place to the next. Every event in this tour was well thought out and would definitely recommend doing this to everyone. Muchas gracias!

Harlen was great, and made our experience wonderful. We saw a lot of wild life including a tucan, many sloths and other fauna. Would totally recommend.

Our tour guide Giovanni and Driver Christian were AMAZING. Giovanni 's clear love of the land and people was shown. The knowledge of history, tradition and the plants was interesting and presented clearly. His banter and humor made the tour less dry and fun. His knowledge of the "best" spots was helpful. We ate and drank our way up the mountain with farm to table delights. Each stop was a delight in senses and taste buds. Christian drove well and could spot an animal in a natural habitat off the side of the road like a trained tracker. We saw sloths, birds and iguanas just off the side of the road.

Long but very enjoyable day. Tour guide was attentive and knowledgeable. Native show was a bit of a non-event but did not distract from overall experience.

This tour was very efficient and our guide is very knowledgeable. Food and snacks were ordered before we arrived at location so we didn’t need to wait long. This gave us more time to do other activities like hot spring or zip line. The waterfall was kinda boring. Coffee plantation was fun. The snacks, drinks, food were all good. Our guide is amazing. He talked to us instead of talking at us. And he knew places to find sloths and other animals.

Awesome time with Harlem and Will, I felt safe all the time, they gave us a lot of time to do what we wanted to do, no hurries and a lot of fun, when I visit again I will look forward to have the same experience.

The absolute best tour guide in Costa Rica, Fernando. A very early day, but was well worth it. Fernando is extremely humble, professional and knowledgeable. If you have the pleasure of meeting him, you will leave with a vast number of new experiences and knowledge and possibly a new friend. He goes above and beyond for his group. It was a great way to end our trip. Some tips: you will receive a confirmation time the day before, be on time. Get a good nights rest. Dress comfortably. No need to bring towels, if you are doing the hot springs; it will be provided. There are plenty of stops to break down the ride. Coffee/snack break around 9ish, lunch around noon, dinner around 6:30. Bring snacks and a bottle of water in case you need something in between. Most importantly, enjoy your trip and new adventures.
