Kelvin was an awesome skipper, giving clear instructions and fascinating information about Magnetic Island and its bays and shipwrecks. We were hugely impressed. Amy was a brilliant first mate too with advice and information. We loved the swimming stop for morning tea & the second stop for wonderful snorkelling with incredible fish including a visit from Rod the cod. We loved it all. Thank you Aquascene!

As a Townsville local I thought I knew it all about Magnetic Island but this tour surprised and delighted me with a number of intriguing historical stories that added an enriching layer to such an enjoyable trip. The fish, the sea eagles, the coral, the multiple beaches and Rod the Cod with his big, goggly eyes were absolute highlights. And a big high-five to the team member who composed the song about the shipwrecked S.S. Adelaide! That was an unexpected gem that we thoroughly enjoyed. My 18yo son searched it up on YouTube when we got home, picked up his guitar and learnt it so we can all sing it on our next Maggie trip. Thank you for an awesome day Kelvin and Amy! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. 🏝️🐠🪸🦀⚓️

The crew of Aquascene were amazing. Their knowledge of the Island and its creatures meant we could get up close to what the Island had to offer. Unfortunately we were unable to snorkel which they let us know in advance, but they offered us a fishing alternative which we all really enjoyed.

I recently went on a snorkelling excursion, and it was absolutely fantastic! From start to finish, everything was well explained, making it easy for even beginners to feel comfortable diving into the experience. The crew was incredibly passionate and lovely, which added to the overall enjoyment of the trip. I highly recommend this excursion to anyone looking for an unforgettable underwater adventure!

Absolutely amazing tour experience with friendly and informative hosts, the bays and views along the way were simply breathtaking, We were taken too a couple of hand-picked snorkelling spots which were just phenomenonal, Morning tea on a secluded beach was also a lovely touch. help and advice was available to first time snorkellers to experts and you were made too feel completely at ease. Overall could not recommend enough.

We have been out with Aquascene several times over the last few years, and we always learn something new. Adam and the team are so passionate about their home, the reef and sharing it with guests that you never walk away unhappy. We have been out in perfect weather, inclement weather and the tours are adjusted to the guests and the prevailing conditions. Cannot wait to go again.

What an amazing experience! Adam was a wealth of knowledge, and so clearly passionate about Magnetic island. The island itself is so beautiful from the sea, we spent a lovely time in a beautiful little bay where we could swim in the ocean and go out on paddle boards and clamber up to a stunning waterfall, with a lovely morning tea from Jan, who was also very helpful and experienced. The only slight downside was the snorkelling opportunity - this was due to a change in the weather - which meant the conditions were pretty rough and the snorkelling was less than ideal. But still a fabulous experience which I would thoroughly recommend to everyone

A great experience, very professional from booking to return. The vessel is ideal for purpose, giving easy access to the water activities. Even non water people can involve with no risks as equipment and staff so attentive and safety concious. Highly recommended. Lindsay Tennyson

What a wonderful experience with Adam & Amy! Our first time circumnavigating Maggie Island with Aquascene. We were able to share this trip with our families, who equally had a marvellous time. Weather was glorious, scenery splendid & activities were fantastic. Can not rate this trip highly enough! Just Magical ⭐️

My 3rd time with this company. Very experienced and friendly crew. Informative and interesting tour. Equipment provided was excellent as was the delicious and substantial morning tea. Due to extensive rain the reef was not as clear as I have seen before however the crew altered the trip to suit the conditions and we circumnavigated the whole island. A bonus. I Always recommend to locals and tourists.

The Magnetic Island circumnavigation tour was awesome. The two crew members were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They don’t take too many passengers which makes for a more personable small group approach and they can be flexible. The boat stopped at key sites and the information provided was very interesting. We had a 1 hour stop with a fantastic swim and delicious morning tea at Huntingfield Bay. Later on the tour we stopped twice to go snorkeling at Florence Bay and Geoffrey Bay. Highly recommend this tour. It is excellent value for money.

Absolutely amazing! Adam and his team were super knowledgeable and friendly, and made the trip a fantastic experience. I have never snorkeled before and felt completely comfortable and had an incredible experience.

Thanks heaps Aquascene! Had an absolute fabulous time today! We were originally meant to be focusing on a snorkelling tour but due to recent weather conditions, Kalvin messaged us the night before warning us that the itinerary had changed. He, and his offsider Amy, ensured we all had an interesting and enjoyable cruise anyway. They were extremely accommodating (especially with my friend and I who were unsteady getting on and off the boat, as well as in and out of the water), their knowledge was incredible, couldn't be more friendly and are obviously very passionate about their work and environment. After all this, Kalvin managed to find a small snorkelling experience for some of the passengers. A great morning tea was also provided. A sensational day was had by all and I would recommend Aquascene to anyone. Thanks again.

Highly recommend snorkeling with Aquascene. Discover hidden bays and birds off the island, truly beautiful. My 85 year old Mum was assisted and enjoyed herself on the pontoon looking at coral and fish. Yummy morning tea provided and even a hot cup of tea. Thank you Aquascene we will be back 🤩 Liz
