1st pick up at kathmandu airport and stay at hoel
2nd pokhara to nayapool and walk to ulleri (4 hours walking )
3nd day ulleri to ghorepani (5 hours walking )
4th day ghore pani to poon hill for sunrise and to tadapani (6 hours walking )
5th day tadapani to chhomrong (4 hours walking)
6th day chhomrong to bamboo (4 hours walking )
7th day bamboo to deurali (5 hours walking )
8th day deurali to machhapuchhare base camp(5 hours walking )
9th day machhapuchhare base camp to annapurna base camp and bamboo (8 hours walking)
10th day bamboo to jhinu danda ( 6 hours walking )
11th day jhinu danda to nayapool ( 6 hours walking )and drive to pokhara
12th day drive to kathmandu by taourist bus

Ram and his father lead our group through the Annapurna Sanctuary for 10 days in mid-winter. Except for our leaders, this was the first time for each of us. I quickly gained confidence in Ram's capabilities. He is knowledgeable, easy to communicate with and strong as an ox! We had different abilities in our group, and he juggled that, together with lots of personalities quite adeptly. I will be back to trek with Ram. After 2 days of trekking (it was 15 days in total) I was already calling Resham "the guide of the guides": He was always willing to help, not only me, but also other guides/groups. His experience had been demonstrated when you see other guides asking him for advise and he always had the smartest response. He made me feel safe all the time and knowing everything was under control. He was transmitting a lot of interesting information about nature, animals during the whole trek, as he is expertised in bird watching tours. He has very good english so it also helps with communication. He has a lot of contacts and can arrange everything for you in advance while trekking: taxi, hostel, restaurant... he even booked my flight from Pokhara to Kathmandu!! Super efficient. He's also very flexible and listening to custommer needs all the time. Addapting schedules and routes day by day according to my status and how I was feeling. Finally he has also a very important human part, such a nice person that invited me to his place for celebrating the achievement. We booked as a group of friends with Ram highly recommended to us. What a fantastic trip it was. Carefully thought out based on our mixed fitness and interests, catering for everything we all wanted. Ram has a fantastic local knowledge and made sure we were all informed of facts and points of interest along the way. The most important thing for us was the flexibility (as much as you can be flexible on these treks) Ram was able to offer, re-arranging our plans when the weather and therefore views were not as good as they could have been when we summited Poon Hill - allowing us to stay another night to get the views the next day!! The second most important thing was making sure we were all going at a pace we were comfortable with. At no point did we ever feel pressured to go faster, which made the whole experience much more enjoyable. So on a scale of 10, I have to score a perfect 10! A perfect holiday, with a very friendly, accommodating and knowledgable guide. I completed the Poon Hill trek in April with my husband and friends and it was the most amazing experience, made perfect by Ram, our guide. He is knowledgeable, flexible in need (rain storms came but Ram altered arrangements swiftly to allow us to stay an additional evening in Ghopani so we didn't miss the spectacular view the following morning) and thorough in his organisation. He is friendly, patient and gentle and is able to quietly look after his tour group without being invasive. Everything ran smoothly and he has a great sense of humour. Thank you for a once in a lifetime experience! Wholly recommend!
