What to expect
Annapurna sanctuary is one of the finest trekking available in the Annapurna region. This trek leads to the fabulous high mountains amphitheater also known as Annapurna base camp. The trekking route passes through many varied climatic conditions from sub-tropical to alpine providing the trekkers the fabulous view of many peaks like Annapurna ranges, Machhapuchchhre (Fishtail), Hiunchuli and many more. The unique combination of heights and depths in the Annapurna Sanctuary give rise to an astonishing diversity of ecosystems. There is dense tropical jungles of rhododendron and bamboo in the south-facing slope, while there is a drier colder weather similar to that of the near-by Tibetan Plateau in the north-facing slopes.

He is orginally from everest region so he knows very well all mountain. Kalapatthar hike was awesome and great view of everest. Fly to lukla was bit bumpy....

The trek organised by Skylark took us through the most amazing scenery from villages and jungle to incredible mountain panoramas. I was reccommended Skylark tours by a friend and it did not dissapoint. Tara was really helpful and gave us a good idea of what treks would be best for our timeframe and gave us a great price straight away that we were really happy with compared to other companies. Our guide Ishwar was fantastic, he let us go at a perfect pace for us and kept us upbeat when the leeches and weather got abit tiresome. Then was on hand to point out all the mountains when we got some fantastic clear weather. He is very knowledgeable about the area and the history which was really interesting and could answer all of our questions. He also taught us a good card game which kept us entertained in the evenings. He waited on for us at all the tea rooms making sure we always got what we wanted to keep us going! We had an amazing experience and recommend the company highly!
