Overview
Welcome to one of the most exciting journey of Annapurna Ghorepani Poon Hill trek with the experienced and ever cheerful team members of Pariwar Holidays Pvt. Ltd. This trek comprises of the most incredible and breathtaking mountain views. It is situated near the beautiful city of Pokhara. Poon Hill is a very popular trekking destination for the people of Nepal as well as for the tourists. The popularity of this region is not only limited for trekking but also to watch the sunrise over the mountains in the morning. It is very interesting to watch the snowcapped peaks turning from grey to pink to the eye-catching white from the peak of Poon Hill.

What to expect
Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in T.I.A. Kathmandu
Pass By: Kathmandu, Kathmandu, Kathmandu Valley, Bagmati Zone, Central Region
You can use any international flight to arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport. Immediately after your arrival, we will transfer you to the hotel. If you arrive earlier, take a walk around the city and explore. Attend a short briefing about the trek.

Day 2: Trek Preparation and a Half Day Kathmandu Valley Sightseeing
Pass By: Kathmandu, Kathmandu, Kathmandu Valley, Bagmati Zone, Central Region
We use this day for the preparation of trekking equipment and half-day sightseeing to UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu Valley. These World Heritage Sites include Swyombhunath Stuap, Patan Durbar Square, Pashupatinath Temple and Bouddhanath Stupa. A professional tour guide will explain the history and their significance during the tour.

Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara by tourist bus- 07 hours (Optionally, you can take domestic flight to Pokhara) - 25 m
Pass By: Pokhara, Pokhara, Gandaki Zone, Western Region
We catch a tourist bus for Pokhara from Kathmandu. You will get a luxurious tourist bus for 6-7 hours while driving to Pokhara. You pass Thankot, Trishuli River, Malekhu, Mugling and Damauli before you reach Pokhara. You will have a few stops on the way for toilet, snacks and lunch.

Day 4: Drive from Pokhara to Ulleri and same day trek to Ghorepani (2860 meter/ 07 hours)
Pass By: Ghorepani, Ghorepani, Dhaulagiri Zone, Western Region
Today, we drive from Pokhara to Ulleri and trek to Ghorepani on the same day. Previously, the drive would only be possible up to Nayapool. So, the trekkers would begin this trek from Nayapool after a short drive Pokhara. While driving, we pass Phedi, Naudanda, Nayapool and Birethanti. Further, passing Tikhedhunga, we arrive at Ulleri spending around 3-4 hours on drive. Next, we ascend up to Ghorepani via lush rhododendron on the same day. Ghorepani is a small town directly facing to Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Himalayan range.

Day 5: Early morning Climb Poonhill (3210 M.) & trek from Ghorepani to Tadapani (2660 meter/06 or 07 hours)
Pass By: Tadapani, Ghandruk 33700, Nepal
Ascend up to the top of Poonhill and capture stupendous Annapurna massif, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) with incredible sunrise. Trek down to Ghorepani and have a beautiful breakfast. After that, head towards Tadapani passing through natural waterfalls and deep woods. Tadapani is equally popular for breathtaking mountain views and sunrise.

Day 6: Trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk village and drive to Pokhara by local transport (07 hours)
Pass By: Pokhara, Pokhara, Gandaki Zone, Western Region
You have shorter working hours today relatively. You will work only for 3 hours to trek to Ghandruk from Tadapani. Arrive at Ghandruk following the trail via lush forest all the way down. Have lunch at Ghandruk and explore the village. You will find Gurung people incredible. You also visit Gurung people’s museum here and learn about their culture and civilization. After that, drive back to Pokhara by local transport. Optionally, you can hire private jeep too if public bus is not available.

Day 7: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu by tourist bus -07 hours
Pass By: Pokhara, Pokhara, Gandaki Zone, Western Region
This tourist bus drive passes through Damauli, Mugling, Trishuli river , Malekhu and Thankot before arriving Kathmandu. We drive along Prithvi Highway today all the way back to Kathmandu. Enjoy a special cultural dinner in the evening with our team.

Day 8: Departure

This is the one! Just don't look for any more agencies, they are the best! From the manager to Kewal( he arranged everything for us!), the trekking guide Utra and the porter Indra. Everyone is just amazing, polite and friendly. The manager arrenged for me even city tours such as bhaktapur durbar...
