Our guide Donna was excellent. She is funny and engaging, while also explaining the details of what we were going to see. The best thing I liked about this trip was that everything is very punctual. The tour started on the dot on time, and we were back in the hotel on time. Ayuthaya is beautiful - and while the tour doesnt stop at every single place, it does stop at all the key highlights - the Wat Mahathat , the Main palace & the sleeping Buddha. The highlight of the trip is clearly the cruise back from Ayuthaya to Bangkok. The food on board is fantastic (you have vegetarian options as well for those who need it) and you get to see some very beautiful sights along the river. This tour is highly recommended for couples who need a structured trip, and for families with children. Our guide Donna knew so much about Ayutthaya and gave good advice all day. The boat ride back to Bangkok was actually a river cruise on a nice boat with an elaborate buffet. I was pleasantly surprised by that. We had a great day.

Great tour! We did feel a little rushed at some of the stops, but the guide was great at keeping us on schedule. Really enjoyed the leisurely boat ride back into Bangkok. Suggest not picking up until 7 so everyone can grab their hotel breakfast - there was no reason to wait for more than 90 mins at the bus stop for the tour to start. Also, a heads up either in the tour description or in the hotel pick up confirmation regarding the dress code required for some of the stops would be appropriate.
