Anchorage Aurora Quest - Northern Lights Photo Tour
Overview
We conduct a daily update that includes both the aurora borealis and weather forecast. The tour runs based on that forecast, but runs only if the forecast indicates a chance of seeing the aurora. Because both weather and the aurora borealis are natural phenomena, we cannot guarantee seeing the northern lights.
This tour increases your chance of aurora viewing success by allowing you to reserve as many nights as you like [space available] and only finalizing payment 48 hours in advance under the Reserve Now & Pay Later system. If you do not see the northern lights during your tour, you get a free make-up tour.

Planned this bucket list trip about 6 weeks, and Carl was very informative on email exchange to get me prepared prior to the trip. Don't want to be around full moon days and best time to see Aurora is in Feb/March. Was very fortunate to have a clear night on my second day during a week of stay in Anchorage. Might be too snowy for non-Alaskans to drive at night. Night tour guides Colin and Ben were outstanding and were flawless in formulizing where and when the anticipated aurora was; and they got us safely to a beautiful place at Knik River. Not very long after we settled and there was the aurora. I am not a good photographer without default auto settings. Colin and Ben were very patient and helpful to guide me in setting up manual night setting for my main camera Lumix GX7 and night mode setting for my backup camera iPhone11. I got to see aurora with my own eyes and shot my own beautiful phots instantly on that night. Genius! Thank you Carl, Colin and Ben.
