If you have the privilege of visiting magestical Kenya, Robert at Explore Kenya, was impeccable at matching our time and budget. We chose Mombasa, Diani as a beach / safari holiday. We were met and looked after by Douglas, right from Mombasa airport. If you are lucky enough to have Douglas as your guide, you will have the most unforgettable life experience! He has a wealth of knowledge, and never grew tired of our non stop questions on both wildlife in the reserves, the Masai tribe visit, and Kenya in general. We could not be more grateful for this well coordinated and unforgettable adventure! Thank you Douglas and Robert! We had an incredible safari with Lucas. And everything from transport to accommodation was perfectly organized. Would recommend to anyone looking to do a safari. This safari was so good that we canceled our other plans and went for another short safari in Masai Mara with Lucas again. Thank you Robert and Lucas! Explorer Kenya is a reliable tour office that I can highly recommend. They were very responsive and gave us comprehensive information prior to the safari. Since we booked our trip remotely, online we did not know what to expect and we could not have made a better choice. Our tour was an amazing!!experience. James Kariinti Kinyanjui, our guide, was the best guide we could ask for. He was so kind, intelligent and knowledgable. He taught us a lot about the animals and shared a lot about his beautiful country. James also has a great eye sight and he spotted animals in their natural habitat to show them to us. We travelled with a kid, 8 y/o and James always ensured we all felt well and he always had our well being as the priority. The hotels were great, food delicious, car comfortable. We would love to come back one day and go with James on another safari. As a solo female traveller, I spent a lot of time researching safari companies to figure out what would be the best fit for me and I'm so glad I found Explorer Kenya! As a solo female traveller, I spent a lot of time researching safari companies to figure out what would be the best fit for me and I'm so glad I found Explorer Kenya! The 4-day trip was an absolute blast and I never once felt uncomfortable. My guide, John Kariuki, was incredibly kind, knowledgable, and became a friend by the end. He has razor sharp eyesight and I still have no idea how he spotted a leopard in Tsavo West! John was able to answer any and all questions I had and entertained my excitement whether it was over rhinos or the stunning lava flow of Tsavo. It was also helpful that John is a walking encyclopedia of all things animals and Kenya. By the end, I was sad to say goodbye but was grateful for the experience. If you're on the fence of what safari company to look for, know that you'll be in good hands by picking this one! There truly is nothing like driving through the National Parks of Kenya and finding a pride of lions or watching baby elephants walk across your path. I'll also add that if you have the opportunity to visit Tsavo West (which you absolutely should) - Kilaguni Serena Lodge is a must. Thanks again John and Explorer Kenya!!
