This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Giant Panda Breeding Research Base (Xiongmao Jidi), No.1375 Xiongmao Avenue the Outside Northern Third Ring Road, Chenghua District, Chengdu 610081 China
7:30am, meet your private guide and driver at your hotel lobby and be transferred to Chengdu Panda Breeding Center to see active pandas from baby to adults before it becomes crowded.
Chengdu panda base is a lovely garden with bamboo forests, swan lake, lush trees that will definitely make your visit memorable.
Enjoy the panda babies while they play, drink milk, eat bamboos, and sleep...etc.
See some of the super stars - adolescent pandas (teenagers). There are 5 to 7 teenage pandas (about 3 years old) living in the big open enclosure.
In addition to giant pandas, you will also see endangered red pandas. They are part of the raccoon family with long tails and beautiful red furs.

After your visit to the panda base, your private car to take you to catch the high-speed train to Leshan city.Enjoy the fast and pleasant High-speed train ride while chatting with your guide about local culture, history and ordinary people's life.
During the one-hour train ride, you will enjoy the idyllic landscape of the Chengdu plain. In Spring time, the land is blanketed by yellow rapeseed flowers and in summer time, it is carpeted by beautiful bright green rice paddies while in autumn, you will see busy harvest scenes.
Upon arrival, try authentic tasty Sichuan style dishes for lunch(Non spicy dishes and vegetarian dishes can be arranged)
After lunch, river cruise to the confluence point of 3 rivers to behold the panoramic view of Leshan Giant Buddha.
The cruise ship will stop in front of Leshan Giant Buddha, you can take the full picture of the Buddha.In addition, from cruise ,you will see the whole Lingyun mountain like a decline sleeping Buddha.

Upon arrival, meet you private driver in Leshan, try really yummy local lunch.Leshan is famous for its delicacy
After lunch, discuss with your guide to choose which option to visit Leshan Giant Buddha
Option 1:Hike the Leshan Giant Buddha Heritage park (Do not go down to the Buddha feet if there were a long queue)
Option 2.Take the river cruise to behold the panoramic view of Leshan Giant Buddha
If time permit, your guide will walk you around the old quarter of Leshan city to explore the local life before head back to railway station.
Around 4pm, catching a train back to Chengdu.
Private car will wait for you when you arrive Chengdu railway station, and transfer you back to your Chengdu hotel
Your exciting panda+Buddha day trip concludes around 6pm.

Fi-Fi was amazing and so fun! My teenagers loved her! We would not have managed to fit everything into one day, or have figured out the transportation on our own. The arrangements were smooth and painless. Our guide and drivers were on time and very knowledgable. We were at the panda base early and managed to spend almost an hour alone with one panda who showed off for us. Fi-Fi managed to navigate us to the best spots at the park and we were out of here before it got too busy. The Leshan Buddha was awe inspiring, but I enjoyed the train trip seeing some chinese country side even more.I really loved the trip, it was very well organized and the only trip offering both attractions in 1 day. I booked two day tours with WestChinaGo through Lily Chen - Dujiangyan Panda Base Volunteer for the day, and on day two, Chengdu Giant Panda Base and Leshan Giant Buddha by High-Speed Train. My outstanding guide and wonderful driver were Sharlene (Wen Wen) and Mr. Gao. It is impossible for me to say enough positive things about Sharlene. She provided me with a wealth of information and was also extremely organized. It was difficult not to cry when we said goodbye because I felt I had gotten to know her so well in just two days and that we are now good friends. My entire experience with WestChinaGo was perfect from the first time I corresponded with Lily. When I arrived in Chengdu, my driver was there to meet me; and when I got to the car, Lily called me to make sure I had arrived safely. This gesture made a big impact on me because it showed how important her clients are to her and immediately made me feel like I was in good hands. The tours I took were both great. The volunteer program allows you to get up close to the pandas and feed them (twice). You really feel part of their daily lives. The second day, we went to the Panda Research Base in Chengdu. This was such a special morning. We saw pandas in both of the nurseries - one baby panda a month old and the other one about 3 months old. They are so precious it takes your breath away. Then, we took the high-speed train to see the Leshan Giant Buddha. Sharlene took me to an excellent restaurant for lunch before we took the boat to see the Buddha. It was much more impressive than I expected. Fortunately, there was no scaffolding, and we had perfect weather. I had allowed myself an extra day in Chengdu to return to the Panda Research Base. Sharlene gave me excellent tips for that day. I was fortunate enough to again see baby pandas in both nurseries, and then I spent several more hours enjoying the other pandas at the base. Sharlene had told me about a sightseeing bus that would take me from the Panda Base to Jingli Street for about $1.50. I was the only non-Chinese on the bus, but everyone was very friendly and helpful. Being an older woman traveling alone, I was nervous about being in Chengdu by myself. However, Sharlene was so thoughtful and caring. I immediately felt at ease with her, and she gave me the confidence to enjoy my extra day. I want to thank Lily, Sharlene, and Mr. Gao for providing me with so many unforgettable memories.I will make this very short; Lily was my main coordinator for this group and she was so helpful and friendly. After booking we had to change the date which Lily arranged for us without any problems. Our guide Winnie was brilliant & added to the great experience. We had plenty of time at the Giant Panda Base before catching the train to see the Leshan Gaint Buddha. We were so lucky as the Buddha had been under restoration but on the day we went the scaffolding had been removed.I would definitely recommend the company, the trip & Winnie( excellent guide) they all went above & beyond.
