When we left in the direction of another beach, the captain of the boat became very nervous because the boat had a fissure and a lot of water was entering. Until lunchtime everything was fine. When we left in the direction of another beach, the captain of the boat became very nervous because the boat had a fissure and a lot of water was entering. We were very stressed for half an hour helping the crew to draw water with buckets because the ship was sinking. In the end, after 40 minutes of nerves, the maritime rescue ship appeared and rescued all of us except the captain. A tugboat came pushing the boat and another boat pulled alongside to pump water. We accompanied the ship to the nearest port arrived at the port of Koufonisia. Then from there the sea rescue boat took us to the port of Naxos. We were scared, but we understand that it was a very emergency situation where we all had to collaborate, otherwise the ship sank. As an example tell them that the damaged ship arrived at the port with a 30 cm water level inside it.We spend a wonderful day on Xanemo, even if we couldn't sail due to a lack of wind, we enjoyed the relaxed hospitality by Debbie and Jerome. We spend a wonderful day on Xanemo, even if we couldn't sail due to a lack of wind, we enjoyed the relaxed hospitality by Debbie and Jerome. They are very kind and caring, offering all you need during the trip: fresh snacks, lunch, drinks, snorkeling gear, information on the islands,... Felt like being on a boat with friends. Stopping in little bays for swimming, snorkeling and a great fresh lunch. We stopped at Naoussa harbour/Paros for a walk in town, a beautiful town. The boat is perfect for 8 guests, everyone finds a nice spot to enjoy the trip. Thank you Debbie and Jerome, we'll definitely be back on board when we're around Naxos again!My wife, 17 year old granddaughter, her friend and I had a wonderful day sailing with Jerome. He is an excellent host providing a wonderfully relaxed day and more food and drink than anyone can possibly consume! My wife, 17 year old granddaughter, her friend and I had a wonderful day sailing with Jerome. He is an excellent host providing a wonderfully relaxed day and more food and drink than anyone can possibly consume! It’s amazing how tired we were at the end of the day and we hardly lifted a finger - other than take a swim or two in the sea. It’s a great boat that can handle 8 passengers easily (the max he takes out). We felt catered to and really enjoyed this days outing! The girls rated this among their top two days of their trip. Book early to be sure you get on the Xanemo.The customer service and empathy from Xanemo Sailing is second to none. The customer service and empathy from Xanemo Sailing is second to none. Unfortunately, due to me being laid off from work, my wife and I decided to cancel our (second) trip to Greece. I emailed directly to explain my situation and Jerome responded immediately with not only a refund, but kind words of support. If this is indicative of how Xanemo runs its excursions, I have no doubt that they are the best in Greece. Good news is I am gainfully employed once again and we will return to Greece. Needless to say the first booking I will make will be with Xanemo.We had such an amazing time! Jerome and Debbie are wonderful hosts and exceeded our expectations.
