Stop At: Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa, Kom Al Shokafa, Alexandria 21599 Egypt

Your tour guide will pick you up from your hotel to start your tour in Alexandria. First visit the insides of the Catacombs of Kom El Shokafa which are the largest Roman Cemetery consisting of three levels cut in the rock.

Pass By: Pompey's Pillar, Bab Sedra Al Barani Sharq, Karmouz, Alexandria Governorate, Egypt

You will also drive by Pompay’s Pillar and stop for a photo stop, (it was constructed in honor of the Emperor Diocletian at the end of the 4th century)

Stop At: Ancient Roman Theatre, Ismail Mahana Road أمام محطة مصرالسكة الحديدية، Kom Ad Dakah Gharb, Al Attarin, Alexandria Governorate 21517, Egypt

Then you will drive to visit the Roman Amphitheater of Alexandria with the display of the sunken monuments of Alexandria which were discovered under the East harbor of Alexandria.

Alexandria Opera House or Sayed Darwish Theatre was built in 1918 and opened in 1921 in the city of Alexandria, Egypt. When it opened, it was named Teatro Mohamed Ali.

Stop At: Bibliotheca Alexandria, Al Azaritah WA Ash Shatebi, Bab Sharqi, Alexandria Governorate 21526, Egypt

Next stop is the library of Alexandria; the biggest library in the world –Visit it’s open court where you can see the statue of Alexander the Great and the statue of Ptolemy the first, which was found underwater nearby.

You will visit president Saddat Museum and impressions of Alexandria Museum.

Note: Alexandria library is closed on Fridays ,Saturdays & in public holidays. To enter the reading area you will need to purchase a ticket.(Optional ) the library’s manuscripts museum,

The car will then take you to visit the prettiest and biggest mosque in the city: the Abbo Elabbas Mosque, and the strangest sight outside it: an old funfair where children play on very antique funfair rides and eat candy floss.

Pass By: Alexandria Unknown Naval Soldier Memorial, Alexandria Corniche, Alexandria 21599 Egypt

The Alexandria Unknown Naval Soldier Memorial is dedicated to unknown soldiers who lost their lives in sea battles. It was originally designed as a memorial to Khedive Ismail.

Stop At: Saint Mark's Coptic Orthodox Cathedral, 19 Qesm Al Attarin, Alexandria Egypt

The car will then take you to visit the church of St. Mark – the oldest church in Africa. Through your drive you will see the old downtown and the local historical architecture which has baroque style designs and Italian and French style properties.

Pass By: Stanley Bridge, Alexandria Egypt

Stanley is a neighborhood near the city centre of Alexandria. The area is most famous for the iconic Stanley Bridge on the Corniche, as well as its private-access beach. The bridge has a total length of 400 meters with 6 spans.

Stop At: Montazah Gardens, Montaza Palace Al Mandarah Bahri, Qism El-Montaza, Alexandria 21599 Egypt

Visit the royal gardens of King Farouk (the last king in the history of Egypt) and see the royal palaces of Haramlek and Salamlek as well as the royal beaches of the queens.

On your way back you will stop over the famous bridge of Stanley – the modern landmark of modern Alexandria, built by Alexander the great, then travel in comfort back to your hotel in Alexandria.

Mohammed was great! The tour was very nice and we enjoy the narratives in every site visited. Super safe drive and everything ran smoothly. They were able accommodate our luggage in the car and the whole transition was phenomenal!

Excellent. Ibrahim was a great driver and a wonderful conversationalist to Alexandria and back to Cairo. Our guide, Shery, was also great and responsive to our desires and where we wanted to spend the time.

The tour hits most of the main tourist sites in Alexandria, although we were told that the gardens are closed for renovations (despite the gardens appearing in the itinerary).
