What to expect
On this Table Mountain hike you will be hiking up a fun and adventurous route with a qualified Table Mountain hiking guide. On this route there are rock scrambles at certain sections, this is a technique used to climb up the rock faces using the grooves in the rocks or staples and chains installed to aid hikers. There is an element of exposure and a head for heights is needed to enjoy the scrambling sections.
You will meet your guide at the start point on the morning of the hike for your hike brief. During the hike you will be surrounded in breath taking views and exquisite scenery the entire way up. This is a truly magical route and you will be blown away from start to finish. On the hike there will be rest stops at exquisite lookout locations and endless photo opportunities.
Once we reach the top, you will purchase a cable car tickets from the shop at the top and we will ride the cable car down after the hike.

- Children must be accompanied by an adult
- Wear good trainers or hiking shoes, loose comfortable clothing, a warm layer for the top even if it is a warm day.

Nick was a great guide. Passionate for the environment, very familiar with all the plant species along the trails. Best of all, on time and did a great job ensuring I was comfortable with the trail. He was also helpful with all my ?s about SA history. There were a couple areas of rock scrambling, but overall not a particularly difficult hike for anyone in relatively good shape. That said, t’was clear the crowds for table mountain opted for easier / leisurely trails up.Had the best trip with a fabulous guy called Gerrard, he made the journey most memorable and looked after us every step of the way.

Hike addicts were well organised and good at communicating. RAY was my guide. He was knowledgeable experienced and always had my safety at the forefront of his mind. Really interesting person and we thoroughly enjoyed the hike. I did a further hike with a friend on our own and were unfortunate to be caught out on the mountain when there was a fire. We called RAY and he guided us down the mountain and checked with us throughout the ordeal and afterwards. His calm advice was invaluable during a very stressful time. Honestly, really worth using an experienced guide when venturing out into the mountains - and RAY comes highly recommended.
