Your safety is our main priority. All our staff has been trained to follow the World Health Organisation, and the Greek Ministry of Health measures regarding COVID-19, and we have maximized hygiene and social distancing recommendations.
We were worried initially, as there are multiple meeting points in Corfu Port, but a quick telephone call resolved everything and they collected us from the ship.
Our first visit was to a Kum Quat Liquor Factory and Shop where you had a free tasting and the option to purchase various goods.
Then, onward to the Palace with an excellent commentary, plus any questions answered.
We were given a good Palace Tour with great explanations and photo opportunities.
Then, it was into the Old Town and some free time.
All in all, it was a wonderful experience and we would strongly recommend it!
The island is beautiful, very knowlagble tour guide, answered all our questions, allowed time for looking around and shopping
Guide was easy to find and tour started promptly. We had a small group which was a bonus. Guide was very informative and brought Empress Elizabeth to life. Excellent value and we were able to skip the shopping portion and walk back to the ship.
Our driver and tour guide were both excellent. Locals with much knowledge of the history and character of the town and Palace. Overall, an interesting tour
Enjoyed this tour. Guide prompt, knowledgeable and helpful. Busy island.
Achilleion Palace was a beautiful site and magnificent views over the island.
The town center was colorful and lively with good shopping.
Our ten person tour was a great way to see Corfu. Ample time at all sites. Wonderful tour guide.
Excellent tour with Zita! She was very knowledgeable about Corfu. Also wifi on the tour bus. I would recommend it.
Loved it and the host was great I forgot her name, but she was the best tour guide. We loved the palace and the city
Nice to have a knowledgeable person walk you through the palace to give you the history. I would have liked more time in Old Corfu. You only have an hour on your own and that is not enough time to walk through the streets and enjoy the ambience of the city.
Our guide, Angela, was very informative! I only wish we had the headphones for this activity as in the crowds at the palace we were not always able to hear her well. We were allowed time in the city for shopping and given excellent history of the area.
It was a great time. Saw everything that we expected to and more! Our guide was very knowledgeable of the area!
Great guide to and from. Nice place with views and historical significance. Self guided tour. Bring ID for headsets.....
Maria our guide was on time and provided our group the fastest way to the Achilleion Palace. Along the way telling us all about Corfu’s history and present day life there. She guided us through the city to all the sites and recommended the best restaurant overlooking the sea.
Our guide was terrific and full of information about the Palace as well as old town Corfu. This is a wonderful tour and definitely worth taking. An air conditioned mini van picked us up making it very convenient.
Excellent shore excursion. Our guide's English was excellent and she was both knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the island. Much better than the typical ship's shore excursion. Group was small (we were 4 out of 10 total) and we were able to came and go much more quickly than a whole bus full of people. It may cost a little more, but is well worth it.
Other than the air conditioned small bus, this excursion was awful. Achilleion palace was not much to see especially after seeing all the palaces in Italy and France. We had to buy the admission tickets as well. The driver didn't say anything about the area, only answered a question if we asked. There was trash everywhere in Corfu-very dirty. Wouldn't waste my time in Greece again.
Driver was not tour guide
At Palace we were given headphones with prerecorded tour-live guide would have been better
Old town was great-needed more time there so we stayed on our own and walked back to ship
walk back was about 30 minutes
Our guide....supplied us with great info and laughter. This is a lovely tour .....the history, the palace and scenery are captivating.
The meeting spot directions were very confusing. our instructions were to meet beside the Norwegien cruise shuttles...only to find out that they changed to outside the cruise gates! others got the same instructions and we waited for an hour to get started! our guide was quiet rough around the edges. She was pushy and rude to other tourists who were in her way when explaining the history. Achilleion Palace gardens was beautiful. A LOT of garbage on the side of the streets! be prepared so gross. We were left on our own in Corfu the guide did not take us anywhere or show us the town. Did not expect that, very disappointing .
Not a lot to see in Corfu but Ines made it interesting. The Palace was fine as was the walk around Old Town. Good tour. Dick c
The driver was waiting for us at the terminal as stated in the voucher, very punctual.. she took us exactly to the places included and also to a distillery to taste kum quat that is a liquor only produced in Corfu, this distillery also produced their own sweets and candy, very delicious, they also produce other types of kum quat some are stronger than others, but you can try all of them at no cost.
Then the driver takes you to Achilleion Palace, that the entrance is 9EUR Extra for each person and included audio tour, after that we were also traveling with another couple and one of them wanted to go to 2 other different places that she happily took us... The driver was very nice and funny.. and at the end of the tour she took us to the city central that this was our favorite part.. this place is amazing, is beautiful, it has alot of places to eat authentic greek food and alot places to buy souvenirs, ect.
We paid 48 for the tour and 18EUR for the entrance, Honestly for the price we could not ask more..
Worth the money!!
Excellent guide with a great sites to see. We had only 2 in our group so it really was a private tour. Our guide included a stop at the liquor factory and an olive oil tasting which were really neat and allowed us to get some local gifts from the area
Not enough time to explore the main part of city. Dropped of at palaces and left on our own. Interesting for anbout half the time.
some confusion over where to meet tour guide and bus at cruise terminal, but once underway, an enjoyable tour with a very knowledgeable guide.
The tour was excellent as was the local guide if I recall correctly it was Mary. Easy to find the group at the pier. The confirmation did indicate that our names would be on the bus but this did not happen. The tour company name was which made it easy to just go up and ask. We really enjoyed the small group over the 50 people per group on the ships excursions. Guide kept the group together well, respected bathroom needs and being local was able to provide interesting tidbits. As an amateur photographer, stops did not tie in super well with ideal lighting but I am now probably getting way to picky. Definitely recommend!
A very enjoyable trip. Our tour guide Mary, was extremely knowledgeable and made sure we all had a good time. We were concerned that we had no way to contact the company should they not pick us up on time, however our worries were unfounded, as the instructions we had been given were precise. We were a group of 16 which was ideal for this sort of excursion. Coach had WIFI on board and was immaculate. I highly recommend this excursion. Far cheaper than those offered by the cruise ship and far more intimate...
Mahi and the driver were waiting for us with signs when we arrived at the terminal. We rode in an air conditioned luxury mini-van with a great driver. Our small group included just my husband and myself. Mahi was extremely informative and knowledgeable about the history of the island and any other question we chose to ask! She was very efficient getting us in the Achilleion Palace and the van was waiting for us when we left. And that is a feat with all the large tour buses blocking the way. Our time with Mahi seeing Corfu was one of the highlights of our cruise. John and I would highly recommend this tour.
We visited Corfu while on an Eastern Mediterranean cruise. I wanted to have a small group tour, and our group was very small indeed! It was just my husband and I. And we had a wonderful tour guide and a driver. So, it was a private tour at the price of a small group tour. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating. She showed us around the palace and then we had a walking tour of the Old Town. We had about an hour of free time, and the guide actually spent this time with my husband who had enough of walking in a café while I was exploring on my own. I will definitely recommend this tour.
Excellent Tour and wonderful guide
