Stop At: Via Chipaya, Jamundí, Valle del Cauca, Colombia
Enjoy a beautiful view of Los Farallones de Cali, a cluster of mountains in the West Andes. Located west of the city of Cali, gives rise to many of the rivers that provide water and electricity to the main city. When they arrive, travelers can enjoy a complimentary cup of coffee or tea and also buy snacks for the walk. There is an spectacular view of another mountain representative of the area, Pico de Loro. Between the forest and the mountains they will descend to the river through a cave called La Cueva del Mono. Swim in the river, enjoy beautiful waterfalls and take photos. Walk continues along a cool path surrounding the Jordan River, where they will reach a natural stone slider where they can have fun and enjoy the afternoon. Then at lunch time they can enjoy a delicious dish prepared especially for them, they can rest in a hammock under the shade of a tree with a view of the mountains or get to know the different entertainment areas and take photos.

I truly enjoyed this tour. The people are friendly and helpful, they go at your pace and can give you a thrilling experience if you are an adrenaline rush kind of person. The food was delicious and the fresh fruit juice was refreshing. It’s best the bring what’s needed to shower because the walk can get dirty. They have a changing area, clean bathrooms and clean shower/changing areas to freshen up to relax and enjoy the scenery.I have travled to Egypt 29 times and first meet Hamdy in 1996. The reviews describe it perfectly. It is a relaxing paradise. We spent a week on business in Cali and this was just the antidote we needed! Slow paced and relaxing! If you want fast paced adventure, then this is not for you, but if you want to relax at your own pace, this is the place for you. The river is amazing. We lounged in the river for over an hour while having a couple of cervezas. Does it get any better than that? They picked us up at our hotel in Cali and it was a pleasant 45 minute drive to the resort. Highly recommended!Bosque el Descanso was just amazing. I never knew I could find myself so fulfilled from being out in nature. The scenery was perfect, the lunch perfect, everything perfect. Highly recommend this tour. The 90 minute journey is worth it.
