Meet Roxana who is part of the eldest family keeping the weaving traditions alive.
Her alpacas and guinea pigs will welcome you and you can feed them their breakfast. Further, learn about their fascinating weaving techniques using natural ingredients to create impressive textiles by hand.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Moray Valle Sagrado de los Incas, Maras 08655 Peru
9:30 am:
Imagine the impressive Inca terraces and the beautiful Andes in the background. This view is just stunning, the story behind even more.
Your guide will teach you about the Inca's agricultural laboratory, and how they created different climatic zones in these terraces. We'll enjoy this place for about 45min - 1h.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Maras, Maras, Cusco Region
11 am:
Staying in front of thousands of salt ponds, still intact.
Here you have the chance to take one of the most famous pictures in the Sacred Valley. Our guide will be happy to capture this moment for you.
From here we continue our tour to have delicious lunch.
Duration: 1 hour
Stop At: Urubamba, Urubamba, Sacred Valley, Cusco Region
1 pm:
Enjoy an outstanding lunch buffet (vegetarian and vegan options available) in one of the best restaurants in the Sacred Valley, the highly ranked Tunupa.

Stop At: Archaeological Park Ollantaytambo, Ollantaytambo 08676 Peru
2:40 pm:
Our last discovery for that day: The terraces and ruins of Ollantaytambo.
This place was highly protected as it was the entrance to the path to Machu Picchu.
Thus, much happened here during the Spanish invasion.

You have the option to be dropped off at the train station in Ollantaytambo, or to return with us to Cusco.

This tour was very well organized and our guide, Gris, was amazing. The itinerary is very dynamic, so we never got board of hearing about the same topic for many hours at a time. Our only complaint is that at the chicheria, we only got about one ounce of chicha. We would have liked a whole glass.

She was also very thoughtful the moment I met her and was very professional. She explained the history of the sights we went to and answered any questions we had. Great experience, we got to see a lot of sights on this trip. Our guide Junior was knowledgeable and passionate in explaining the history of the inkas, Spanish invasion and pre-inka times. He was a great guide. We where back at our hotel more than an hour after schedule so we got more than we paid for, but don’t make plans between five and seven like we did😅 All in all a great day, a tour that we recommend.
