we went on a small group tour to Hierapolis and Pamukkale Springs, and I must say it was an amazing experience! I traveled with my friends and we had a great time exploring the beautiful scenery. The highlight of the tour was definitely the Pamukkale Springs which had stunning white terraces and crystal-clear water. The onyx and mineral shop we visited was also fascinating, and we got to learn a lot about the different types of stones and minerals found in the region. Although we didn't have enough time to see the Necropolis up close, the tour guide made sure to give us some background information on the site which was very interesting. Our last stop was a spice shop that sold Turkish delights, perfumes, and tea. The salespeople were very friendly and interactive but there was no pressure to buy anything which was a relief. The tour guide was fantastic - he was friendly, helpful, and went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience. Overall, I highly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience the beauty and culture of the region with a knowledgeable and friendly guide. Well organised tour with a fab guide. Explained the history of our trip and the way around the different bathing areas. Also stopped on the way there to a locally run tea/arts and crafts place. Good to support the locals in theirocal economy. Good choice by our guide Erdeym!

We booked this tour last minute. Our pick up was seamless by Mehmet our tour guide. We became a group of 11 people who were accommodated in a minibus. It is a long drive from Kusadasi- around 2 hrs and 40 mins- however we had two breaks before getting to a restaurant for lunch and then Pamukkale...
We booked this tour last minute. Our pick up was seamless by Mehmet our tour guide. We became a group of 11 people who were accommodated in a minibus. It is a long drive from Kusadasi- around 2 hrs and 40 mins- however we had two breaks before getting to a restaurant for lunch and then Pamukkale. The journey did not feel long as Mehmet was a very knowledgeable guide with good language skills- English and bit of German. It was my wife birthday and Mehmet surprised us with a cake in one of the breaks which was very nice! He provided us with all the relavnt information about the site and other places that we were visitng along the journey i.e. towns and history of them, fruit tress etc... so we were touring Turkey countryside as well!! Mehmet showed the Pamukkale site to us with all the relavant details and was ready to answer all of our questions. Pamukkale is an amazing place and the weather was perfect- around 26 degrees- so this tour didn't disappoint us at all. Personally I think the small group visit was a better choice compared to big groups as our guide could provide us with better and personal service. Thanks Mehmet for the great experince. We will tell people about our great experince when we go back to Australia!Amir S
