Not your average fact sharing tour. Guide made it more Interesting with humorous historical facts. Hard to hear at times as lots of noise in the streets.

I had doubts about how much it cost but our 2 hour walking tour was worth every penny. We had a Spanish tour lady who really knew her stuff and was good humour, the 2 hours went very quickly. I would take this tour again

Tour by Alistair was excellence. It was packed full of history delivered in way that was digestible and enjoyable. Despite the noise and bustle of Edinburgh we found pockets of courtyards and closes where we could discuss monuments and hidden treasures of Edinburgh. I had been to Edinburgh a few times and was familiar with its history so I took my partner on the tour who was a newbie. It sparked out interests and we want to delve deeper into this cities history.

Georgia was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. She has a great sense of humor and able to present the stories of this city in remarkable way. We did this on the morning of our first full day in Edinburgh and it was a great way to start the trip and get a lay of the land. Niamh was a wonderful guide who, through lots of fascinating tales and colourful descriptions, gave us a real understanding of what life was like in Edinburgh from the 1300’s through to the early 1700’s.
