Egmont Key has history dating back to the 1500's. Travelers have the option of snorkeling the ruins. This is an advanced snorkeling spot. Egmont Key also offers nice grass flats to snorkel in at more of a beginner level. Touring the island is always a popular option see turtles, birds, wildlife, and ruins from The Spanish American War.

We got to experience it all.. we saw dolphins up close swimming in the wake of the boat, a manatee swimming in shallow water, and gopher tortoises walking around on Egmont Key. The snorkeling was impossible with the choppy waves but exploring the history of the island was worth the money alone. The island is beautiful and the water was pretty warm. We also could see dolphins on the way to the island! I highly recommend it!Captain Rob was great. He was knowledgeable and super helpful. We had a fun time on the boat and exploring Egmont Key. Saw a manatee, stingray and dolphins. The boat was clean and comfortable.
