We had a fantastic tour with Angie in the Garden District. She was extremely informative and interesting. This was an easy 2 hour walk, would recommend to anyone interested in learning more about Louisiana and Garden District history. You cannot enter the cemetary, which is a bummer, but learned some fascinating facts anyway. The garden district is lovely and you get the best views by walking. Highly recommend! Thank you, Angie.

Tours by Steven facilitated a great 2 hour experience. Guide Harris was easy to find, welcomed us like family and used his passion and local knowledge to not only show the garden district but to explain how it came to be, who the residents were and in some cases, are now. He was a trove of knowledge and picked spots that made for a great memory.

Lee, the tour guide, was too focused on theatrics and story time vs. the homes and the actual Garden District. He saw that not many in the group were entertained by this and didn’t seem to care.

Harris was our guide on April 11th at 10am, He is excellent, knowledgeable and brought the whole experience alive. My wife and I loved the tour and we highly recommend him.

What a gorgeous place to tour! The Garden District was stunning with its architecture and gardens. Stayed at Hotel Henrietta on St.Charles Ave. Highly recommend, but book directly through the hotel for the best price. We were treated excellent, definitely a top notch , clean, and beautiful hotel.Angela, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and easy to hear. Learned a lot of things we didn’t know about New Orleans. Enjoyed finding out which celebrities owned which houses. Also, asked for a recommendation for the Best Gumbo. Angie was spot on, The Gumbo Shop in the French Quarter! Had the chicken and audoile sausage. Definitely a winner!

This would’ve been 5 stars if the tour actually still included a tour of the cemetery that’s been close to the public since 2019. But it didn’t. Despite that, Harris was an absolute fantastic guide and incredibly knowledgeable - a truly amazing resource of detailed history and architectural nuances. He was also very sweet with our kids young kids who were a bit disappointed about the lacking cemetery content.

Highly recommended walking tour through the Garden District of New Orleans. Guide was knowledgeable, funny and had lots of anecdotes about various houses. If anything, I would have liked it to be longer! Great value!

My wife, 20 year old daughter and I joined several others on the Garden District walking tour on April 14. Our tour guide was Lee - and he was amazing. The two-hour walking tour flew by and we had a lot of laughs as well as learned a lot about the historic Garden District. Lee was an engaging storyteller who had us both captivated and in stitches. His knowledge of the history and culture of the Garden District runs both deep and wide. Beyond his core tour narrative, Lee answered everyone’s curiosities with entertaining factoids. His energy and wit kept our attention throughout and we left with a greater appreciation for the Garden District and the beautiful city of New Orleans. Needless to say, we highly recommend Tours by Steven and Lee as a tour guide.
