Chef Angel made the whole experience memorable. Going to the market to pick up ingredients added to the cooking experience. It was fun to be with a great group of varied people and made the class enjoyable since everyone was open, animated and fun. We even ran into a few classmates at the musculature on in the day. Such a fun way to spend a morning on vacation! We loved getting to visit the market to gather ingredient for the paella - and we learned so much. The dishes came out amazing, can't wait to make everything at home! Definitely would recommend!

I thought that Eduardo was one of the best cooking teachers I have ever had. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything thoroughly, making it very easy to understand and making for a wonderful and delicious cooking class experience. The kitchen was spacious, clean, and easy to work in. And I met so very many many nice people.

We were in Spain (Madrid and Barcelona) for 7 days and this was the best experience we had. We can’t stop talking about it. I can’t wait to make this for my husband when we return to the US. We had Paella four times in Spain, and the one we made was the best!

Eating delicious Spanish food we cooked ourselves was so mind expanding! The teacher was upbeat, fun, and personable. History and reason was woven into our class, and four hours just flew by! He organized our class perfectly and kept us away from the most dangerous parts- like deep frying potatoes. We did get to use flame torches however! Haha!

I did the tapas class. Elisa our host was amazing! She was very patient with us, had a great sense of humour, answered all my silly questions, and helped us cook really yummy dishes, which we all ate afterwards. My group was a lot of fun. Highly recommended!

I like to wander markets when I travel to see what foods they eat and to learn more about the culture. The only thing better than that is a cooking class where you start off at the market to by your ingredients with a Spanish chef who speaks English! Now you can get your questions answered and get a better view of the people and their food. For instance, do the fish come from the Atlantic or the Mediterranean? Which tomato to use for salads or cooking? The different between Jamones? Our Chef Guide was Elisa and she was fabulous! The Kitchen Studio was well-equipped and clean. We were randomly paired in groups of two (everybody there loves cooking so who cares who you share it with). First, we made Sangria accompanied by every last detail you would want to know about it. Second, we made Gazpacho. How simple but unique and it was delicious! Third, we made Paella Mixta. This was with calamari, mussels, and chicken. We precisely prepped and added the ingredients in the true Spanish way! Finally, our places were set to enjoy the food and drink we made and enjoy conversation with people from all over!

Teresa was the best instructor. Shopping was very informative and it was lots of fun learning to shop the Spanish way! Our final paella was scrumptious and with Teresa's hints much better than one we tried at home. Great fun meeting other travelers and sharing sangria, paella and salad together.

We would highly recommend this experience!! The food was wonderful and the chef excellent!! We had a great time cooking and eating Spanish tapas.

This cooking class was fantastic. With a shopping trip to the market and never ending Sangria. Angel was a great host and teacher… knowledgeable and entertaining. There were couples, young adults and another family in our class… a lovely day was had by all!

We had a great time. Happy to learn about the ingredients and get to the market. The entire experience was awesome. Elisa is amazing! She is a wealth of knowledge about food in the city! You should definitely do it!

Had a great time with a nice group and an amazing chef Teresa who explained a lot of interesting things on Spanish cuisine, culture, music and was very entertaining. We cooked great food in pairs of two and drank very nice sangria during class and selfmade one for diner. Highly recommend it for everyone who spends an evening in Madrid.

Ot was amazing! The teacher is great! The visit to the market is awesome and he explainvery nice about everything. In clas we did all of the cooking, and the chef explained us how to do all. It was a very much enjoyable day. Very recommended.

WE LOVED Teresa! She kept us all fully engaged and lead us in the preparation of such a delicious meal. She is a great story teller....and she has an amazing voice and dance moves as well! HIGHLY RECOMMEND taking this class!

The whole cooking class was amazing! Angel our instructor was wonderful, we cooked 5 different tapas plus sangria and we were able to take home leftovers. Such a fun time!

Angel was amazing. We learned so much about Spain and food while having fun. Everything was organized and left room for questions and not being rushed.

Our family of five had a very fun time! The total group size is good and creates a fun atmosphere for cooking as everyone is trying their best. Our chef was great and funny. Lots of laughs, especially since none of us are great cooks!
