The boat is a remarkably comfortable ride with newly installed high-back padded seats (only fast boat in the region with padded seats) allowing guests of all ages and adventure levels to enjoy the tour without seasickness and with the highest comfort and safety possible on a boat.

South Whitehaven Lookout - Enjoy a 45 minute round trip to the stunning new Lookout at Whitehaven Beach. From the viewing platform you will see all 7km of Whitehaven Beach plus massive views over Chance Bay, Hazelwood islands, Lindeman Group and Pentecost Island

Discover Chalkies Beach and the new lookout over Coral reefs.

Stop At: Chalkie's Beach, Queensland, Australia
Known to locals as Whitehaven's little brother, Chalkies beach is directly across from Whitehaven Beach on Haslewood Island and has the same sand as Whitehaven Beach. This is where we snorkel 80% of the time, if you do not wish to snorkel you can spend the time on the beach and exploring the lookout over coral reefs (see pictures)

Just back from an unforgettable day swimming with turtles (well one turtle) courtesy of a fantastic trip with Zigzag to Whitehaven Beach, great lunch, super Bush walk up to stunning lookout and then a short hop to the bay where we had a fantastic snorkelling experience. Part of the fun was travelling in the high speed powerboat to the beautiful Whitsundays with our entertaining skipper Fiona and her team Kelly and Alia. I’ve been wanting to visit the Whitsundays for ages and whilst the weather was not idyllic, I am so happy the tour went ahead. The boat ride was exciting, so much so that the staff had to quietly tell me to be less enthusiastic. In my town you pay just to experience the Zigzag alone so for me it was a fabulous bonus. The music was on point. Snorkel was fun although I wish I had asked the guides to take to see if I could get further out. I did see plenty of coral. Whitehaven beach did not disappoint with a great close multiple encounters with my spirits animals, the goanna!! Lunch was filling and plenty of water to hydrate. While there was a shower, I took the opportunity to use the high silica white sand to do a beauty treatment and now my skin is baby soft. The quick dip in the resort pool was a treat and I only wish my travel companions were up for a $5 happy beverage at Sorrento’s If the weather fines up before I leave, I’ll definitely do it again if Zigzag let’s me!O6743JHkarenb
