Absolutely incredible experience. LUCKED out with incredible weather. Our tour guide Lar was phenomenal, took care of everyone with care. Explained everything and more. Stellar personality. Would recommend to anyone!

The tour was incredible and Lar was the best tour guide. High energy, bag of laughs, and a legit extra from GOT Visited multiple landmarks, including Winterfell Castle and sets from national Park. Pickup from Dublin was on time and Dennis was the true King of the bus!

Was amazing getting to see so many iconic spots from the shows, and the guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Full of great stories both from personal experience and with little tidbits about the show and shooting. Added a lot more to the trip than just giving out some info, and the cloaks were amazing, everyone looked great walking around in them. It is a quick pace though, so be ready for the hike or the wildlings may get you.

I highly recommend this tour. You'll get to see all the locations with an actual extra that worked in the show. The tour guide is a rock star, literally. Fantastic experience.

What a fantastic experience! Lar our guide was so knowledgeable and made it so interactive and fun. There is a lot of walking. In total for me it was around 6 miles. So if you aren’t able to walk that, this may not be the right trip for you. Many of the filming locations are not easily accessed by car, so you need to plan accordingly. Wear good shoes and hope for nice weather. Maybe even re-watch a few episodes of the show. I would highly recommend to any GoT fan or someone that just wants a unique experience.

Fantastic experience! The swords and capes were absolutely marvellous additions to an already entertaining and gorgeous tour. We were lucky enough to be blessed with a sunny day and the scenery was immaculate. The tour takes you to 3 locations with ample breaks in between for pit stops and food. 10/10 the best tour I’ve been on in a long time. You really get a bang for your buck with this one. Lars was the most entertaining guide I’ve seen in a very long time.

We stayed an extra night in Dublin JUST for this tour because we are crazy GoT fans. Mind you it was St Patrick's Day weekend and hotels were outrageously expensive. You meet in the morning at Hilton Garden Inn and off we drive 2 hours to Northern Ireland. Robbie was our guide and he made us laugh a lot despite the terrible rainy weather. He was an extra on GoT and died 7x, and he got to live to tell us all about it. We visited many amazing and beautiful locations from S1 and S2 while walking close to 8 miles in the cold and rain. Do not wear your pretty shoes here because it was a muddy day for us. We started out at Tollymore Forest, visited Winterfell, and ended the day at Inch Abbey where Robb Stark was pledged King of the North. Because of the awful weather, Inch Abbey was the only spot we got to wear the cloaks and play with all the props. This made me a bit bummed when I saw the gallery online and other groups got so many nice pictures in their cloaks throughout the tour. Our group only got ONE group photo together. *sad face* Alas, we will just have to visit Ireland again and perhaps take the tour from Belfast next time.

Absolutely fabulous tour with a really good, prepared ,knowledgeable and well informed tour director. Very very good.

The tour host, Lar was magnificent! He was a Wildling extra on the show and he provided thorough details on behind the scenes on various filming locations. As a bonus, the guy is just hilarious, organized, and pleasant. It's about a 2-hour ride from Dublin to Northern Ireland, but it's barely noticeable because the ride is interactive and fun. This event was my last tour before I left Ireland and I truly believe I saved the best for last. It was a perfect ending to my trip. Thanks to Lar and the King of the Bus! The North Remembers!

Lar was such an excellent tour guide! We had a wonderful tour and appreciated his knowledge, enthusiasm and fun! HIGHLY recommend.

Lar our Wildling Chieftan took us on a serious trek back in time through the Tollymore Forrest. So many amazing spots where many of the season 1 locations were shot. We then had an amazing lunch at the Lobster Pot. (The seafood chowder was so good!) after which we sent to Winterfell. Also a great hike. I personally am not in shape but I did not let the rain, mud & lack of endurance stop me. Definitely know you’ll need a good pair of hiking boots & if it’s raining a good weather proof jacket. I would absolutely do this again. Especially because now I think I’m In the best physical shape of my life from those hikes (joking), but also Lar made the day special with his inside scoops of the filming as an extra.

Of course, if you want to enjoy this experience. You have to be a fan. As long as you check that box, you are in for a great experience, lots of fun, everything is organised to please you, the tour guide does his best to keep you entertained, several stops for snacks and restrooms are planned. It was great !

This tour was easily the highlight of our trip to Dublin. Lar, our guide, was just wonderful, entertaining us with songs, stories, and facts throughout the trip. He had a wonderful sense of humor but still managed to keep us on schedule. I loved wearing my cloak and was sorry to give it up at the end of the day! The treks are brisk (not a stroll in the woods), but we had plenty of time for pictures. There was a small glitch with the DVD player on the bus being broken, but Lar made up for it with videos on a tablet and large printouts that helped bring the locations to life. He was also knowledgeable about the other shows filmed in the area, sharing his knowledge with practiced ease. The locations are all stunning, and it's a great way to see some of Ireland's countryside and historic landmarks too. We can't wait to come back and do the Iron Islands tour.

What a fantastic experience! You definitely must sign up and enjoy the day filled with everything GOT. Lar is an amazing tour guide who was a cast member himself. His insides and extended knowledge made the whole tour more exciting. We had beautiful weather, the walks weren’t tiring at all. When planning our trip to Ireland, I looked at many tours out of Dublin. However, when I saw this Game of Thrones tour, I knew I wanted to take part. It was so unique compared to all the other tours out of Dublin. I was not disappointed with my decision. Lar was our tour guide, and he was so amazing! He was so enthusiastic and passionate throughout the tour - he kept the attention of everyone in our group, even those who had not seen any GOT. And for the tour itself, what a cool detail that you get to wear cloaks throughout the tour to truly immerse yourself in the GOT world. TLDR: If you’re considering taking this tour, do it! It’s a unique way to see part of Northern Ireland, GOT fan or not. We had so much fun.

This tour and host were amazing. Idf you are into game of thrones and would like to see some cool locations and amazing scenery this tour is for you. The tour guide was amazing, knowledgeable and extremely enthusiastic. Between his stories, pictures, knowledge of the show and the on bus entertainment not a minute of the day was wasted. We left from Dublin, made a stop at the Obama Plaza rest stop for a quick coffee and pastry then to a tavern for lunch before we got to the locations. Dress comfortably and wear good shoes because there are two treks through that are about 3km each or better. We enjoyed every bit of the tour as it was also very interactive. Brush up on your GOT trivia!

Lar, our guide, the Wildlings Chieftan was fantastic! Such insights into the filming and locations made this a fabulous day tour! He kept the group engaged with his stories and was very entertaining. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you are a Game of Thrones fan. There is a good amount of walking involved, a bit more than we anticipated so make sure you're wearing comfortable and sturdy shoes and be prepared for a trek through beautiful wilderness areas at a brisk pace.

We had a wonderful time on this tour. Lar our tour guide was very informative and friendly. I enjoyed dressing up in costume and hiking the Belfast area. It was very smooth and a lot of fun!
