We had a lovely tour with our guide Sherif. We started in Cairo and took the Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor. Our guide was very accommodating and had so much knowledge about the history of Egypt. As a bonus we were invited to enjoy a meal by Sharif’s friend. Delicious!

Wow! What an incredible 8 days. The whole experience was amazing. From visiting the Pyramids with a fantastic guide called Sherif to experiencing an overnight sleeper train to Luxor (well worth the upgrade) The Nile cruise was beautiful. The boat was called opera. The rooms were big an airy. Was lovely to lie back on my bed and watch from the balcony the scenery on the banks of the Nile pass me by. I had a wonderful guide called Ramzy who escorted me and my small group of solo travellers around each temple on the tour. His knowledge of ancient Egypt is second to none. Any issue or question we had, he sorted for us. Honestly such a great guy, professional and so much fun. Was sad for the tour to come to an end. Highly recommend this 8 day experience.P3456WTdavidj

We started off with separate pickups from the airport since my girlfriend and I arrived on different days. This went very smooth with the driver Omar. He was VERY friendly. The first day of the trip was to the Giza Pyramids, Dashour, and Saqarra. Our tour guide was Sherif and the driver was Hazem...
We started off with separate pickups from the airport since my girlfriend and I arrived on different days. This went very smooth with the driver Omar. He was VERY friendly. The first day of the trip was to the Giza Pyramids, Dashour, and Saqarra. Our tour guide was Sherif and the driver was Hazem. Both were extremely kind people. Sherif spoke very clear English and was extremely knowledgeable. The lunch at a local place was great. From there, our trip moved onto Luxor by Sleeper Train. The train is a bit noisy and uncomfortable, but that has nothing to do with the tour service. Realize that you will not be able to shower in the train so your next shower will be whenever the Cruise allows you to check in on the following day. Upon arrival to Luxor, we were met by the driver Ahmed and a company rep Star. When arriving to the Cruise, the room was not ready. Star took us to a local place for breakfast and helped us get a local 4G router while we waited. Later that day, we did the eastern Luxor tour which included Karnak and Luxor Temple. Both were done with Hany Soliman and were a great experience. He is like having Google with you. His history expertise is amazing! On the next day, we started out with a hot air balloon ride which was an incredible experience. The pilot was great at maneuvering and would rotate the balloon for good photo opportunities. Later that day, we met up again with Hany for a trip to Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut Temple. Again, Hany's knowledge is incredible. He also entertained us a bit by racing our Swiss friend Nicole in a foot race even though it was Ramadan. The following day was sailing and stops at Edfu and Kom-Ombo. Hany did another great job of explanation. It is best to go along with his style of touring. He will go through each temple with detailed explanations and give you time for photographs after the discussion is over. It took a day or so for us to realize this though he explained it at the beginning. The last day was Aswan and Abu Simbel. After a 3-hour drive in the morning, the trip was worth it. The temple is definitely worth the drive. It is gorgeous on the outside and inside and the smaller temple on the side is just as good or better. After we got back, Hany took us to the Aswan High Dam and Philae Temple. We had the temple almost to ourselves. As usual, Hany gave a great explanation of everything and answered all of our questions. The last day was when we took the Sleeper Train to Giza and was dropped off at our hotel. We initially were taken to the wrong hotel but we corrected that. Overall, the trip was a great experience and we would highly recommend this tour.778benjaminv
