Wasn’t sure what to expect as heard a mixture of reviews about ghost tours but wanted to give it a go. After reading the reviews on this one so happy we booked it. It was fantastic! Really funny dr Dorian deathly was the perfect mix of informative and comical. Would definitely recommend!

The tour guide played his role perfectly, he was energetic and made sure there was lots of interaction to include everyone in the storytelling. A great way to see the city! My sister and I enjoyed ourselves and walked parts of the city we wouldn’t have on a Friday night alone. Thank you for the experience and welcoming atmosphere.

I absolutely loved this did the tour on the 12th april and David the Welshman was our tour host and it was so funny and interesting. Loved hearing about the spooky story’s of York and also got to see some beautiful sights as well. 100% recommend this tour to everyone also got a photo of the window with a large green orb

Dalton was great, and very entertaining. It was also a good way to see areas of the city centre whilst learning about the ghostly happenings!

Booked the tour as part of a weekend away to celebrate eldest sons 21st birthday. Our guide was Dafydd. We could tell right from the start of the night that the tour would be fabulous. Dafydd was crazy, fabulous, outrageous, bonkers, brave, professional, funny, interesting and enthusiastic. The tour stories are spooky enough to satisfy us believers and funny enough to entertain the few who had come straight from the pub! The trips down the small passage ways were so interesting and the few people not part of the tour we encountered made the tour special. Dafydd reacted to any change to the norm very quickly and was very funny with his comments. Don't want to give any spoilers but will say that you definitely want to book this tour. We have a ghost tour guide in Sheffield who could learn a thing or two!! Book now, you won't regret it.

I booked this trip with my kids aged 15 and 17 and we loved it. It was so much fun and Dr Dorian was a fantastic guide. Loved the stories and check out my daughter's picture from the tour. She rook this at the window of a house where we were told a child died. Top righthand side - see what you think - face or no face?? :-) .

Great laugh while enjoying some of the sights of York ! Could have done without rain but there was nothing could be done on that front.

Absolutely brilliant!!! A Welsh man giving a ghost tour in York, did not disappoint, from the minute the tour started to the end, he had everyone’s attention. Laughed so much. As Dafydd said if you go to see ghost you will be disappointed, just think how much they could charge if you did! 👻 Second time in York second time doing a tour with a guide, would 100% recommend.

This is a brilliantly funny tour that is full of spooky tales with an energy filled host. I would recommend it highly.

This was such a great tour. The guide was fun and entertaining. My husband wasn’t sure he wanted to go. After it had concluded he was happy we had booked it. I would strongly encourage anyone thinking about booking a nighttime tour to pick this one!

Brilliant, funny, enthusiastic and theatrical guide. My son (aged 11) said “it’s the best thing he’s ever experienced”, he raced to keep up with guide, and interacted with him, which is quite unlike my son. Coupled with the magic of York this tour was definately well worth it. Whilst I was concerned at first by the number in our group, it was managed so well and the stop points were positioned perfectly for all of us to hear and see the guide easily. It was interactive and there was just enough sarcasm and wit without it being awkward. I’ve done a few walks in York (as I once lived here) and this was all new content for me and by far the best.
