You will explore the water coconut palm with the unique basket boat and have an unforgettable experience catching with the local fishermen's net.
After that, Enjoy a 20-minute foot massage. Then learn how to make spring roll and traditional Pancake “Banh Xeo” followed by lunch at the local family home.

Pass By: Cua Dai Bridge, Bridge Over Thu Bon River, Hoi An Vietnam
We will take a 40-minute leisure boat ride heading to Hoi An Old Quarter. On the way, you will have an opportunity to experience the local daily life along the banks of Thu Bon river. The boat will stop right in center of the Old Quarter where we start our walking tour in Hoi An.
Stop At: Hoi An Ancient Town, Hoi An 560000 Vietnam
You will spend your time strolling down the narrow streets of this atmospheric old town which is full of architectural gems that show off a range of influences through the years. Visit the fish & vegetable market, the Fujian temple, and the Japanese covered bridge. Enriched by the proceeds of this trade many merchants constructed beautiful homes. You can admire these charming houses along Tran Phu street, one of the oldest in Hoi An.
Thereafter you will have relaxing time with a cup of Vietnamese coffee in the Old Quarter before returning to your hotel.

Had a great time in this tour! My wife and I had Trung (Ricky) as our tour guide and he was knowledgeable and caring for us throughout the whole tour. Had a great time in this tour! My wife and I had Trung (Ricky) as our tour guide and he was knowledgeable and caring for us throughout the whole tour. The reason why we chose this tour over others is because we were looking for a more intimate, local experience and we felt that this tour accomplished that. Our day started with us being picked up at our hotel in Da Nang and driving 30 minutes to the Day family house. We took a basket boat ride around the river for about an hour, experiencing different things like twirling the boat and crab fishing. This experience did feel a bit tourist-oriented, with the amount of tourists that were on the river. We then went back to the Day house and got foot massages, which was great! We were shy at first, but the Day family ladies were very kind and caring. We did our cooking class after, in which we cooked fried spring rolls and Vietnamese pancakes, which was a very fun experience and one of the highlights of the tour. The lunch is what you made, along with 4-5 other dishes that the Day family prepares for you, and it was delicious. It is a lot of food, at least for 2 people, so be aware of that. We took a 45 min - 1 hour boat ride to Hoi An, where Ricky showed us some highlights of Hoi An, including the shopping center and the different historical buildings. We also went to a cafe to drink some coffee/beer, and it was great just getting to hear from Ricky about Vietnam and his family. The tour ended there and we were taken back to our hotel. We had a great time and would recommend this experience to others considering a local experience near Da Nang or Hoi An! Thank you to the Day family and Trung for a wonderful time where we were cared for us as foreigners! Note: we were lucky with the rain and the weather was nice on this day, but I think that this experience can still be done in the rain.yelenac43

Excellent tour with Kent! Riding in a basket boat among water coconut trees was charming and Hugh(?) made it so fun, catching crabs and twirling the boat. The time at the Day family house was lovely, great cooking class and wonderful foot massage. Hoi An had a unique feel and was very interesting.

We were a group of 10 adult from manado indonesia..had a great day and enjoyed moment in da nang. We were glad and much appreciated to justin that spend moment with us. Esspecially when was raining and justin supplied raining coats. 👍🏻 well done mate.. We felt comfortable because of good commun...
