Great tour with Abdul. From the moment he picked us up his enthusiastic and inclusive manner set the scene for a day of laughs, delicious food, beautiful scenery and good company. We both enjoyed our day, the experiences we had and the people we met. Recommended

My husband and I did the tour with Abdul this week and would absolutely recommend it. Abdul was the perfect guide and we enjoyed every stop of the day. The hike through the Berber villages followed by the most delicious and generous lunch was an absolute highlight of our time in Morocco! We were pleasantly surprised to see very few other tourists the whole day and being part of a small group (6 total) meant we all felt we were getting a much more intimate, authentic and well-rounded experience. We're so glad that we opted for this instead of one of the cheaper tours. Don't hesitate to do it!!

We had a great time with Ismail. He is an awesome tour guide … very knowledgeable, likable, and fun to be with. We learned a lot about rich culture and history of Atlas Mountains and wonderful country of Morocco. Highly recommended!

A well-paced, professional, varied and exhilarating tour of the High Atlas. We have loved being in Marrakesh but the 5 Valley trip was a wonderful day away from the noise and delightful chaos. We were picked up from an agreed meeting point 5 minutes from our Riad on time (tour guide Mohammed was waiting). The SUV was brand new, and very well driven by Mohammed who was careful to ensure seatbelts were on etc yet very polite, intelligent and an excellent English speaker. Being a Berber himself, he was very invested in making the day as rich as possible and his warmth for the Berber children and adults we met along the way was clear. His knowledge of the culture and region excellent as was his understanding of Morocco, European culture and global issues. The trip was full of humour and fun. The scenery was beautiful and the Berber people we met, and whose hospitality we enjoyed, were delightful. It was interesting to see the impact of the September earthquake on the communities, especially when we walked through some Berber settlements. We returned to Marrakesh uplifted and well-cared for, thanks to the careful planning of the programme and attentive leadership from Mohammed.

This was a great tour that allowed us to see some amazing views as well as to get an idea of how the Berbers live in the villages up there - which is pretty poorly! This was particularly striking in view of the damage caused by the 2023 earthquake. We were glad that the company was taking us to areas that were not full of foreign tourists and that were clearly in need of support. We were happy to be in contact with people there. Being a small group (6) was really appreciated. The trip includes a hike up to the lunch venue which gives striking images (but is slightly demanding). The lunch venue with a view on to Toukbal is is a great location, with a friendly family cooking (although communication is inevitably limited). Our guide, Mohamed (the First) was exceptionally good: fluent in English, French and Spanish, informative and humorous - a real pleasure to be with. Thank you!

Fantastic tour. A proper experience , felt like you were off the tourist trail and seeing the countryside for real. Good value for money

Honestly the best organised tour I have been on! Really felt like I saw and experienced the Atlas Mountains properly rather than being on the usual tourist trail in a big group. Abdul was a great guide, nothing was too much trouble for him and his family where we had lunch (which was delicious) were so friendly and welcoming. The walk is a proper hike where you get to see the experience the countryside up close , walk through villages and meet the Berber people (our walking guide who’s name escapes me was also very good) Great value for money

Really recommend this trip. Fantastic guides and really lovely experiences. Women's co-operative for breakfast and lunch with a Berber family were both so indicative of the generous and welcoming people of Morocco. The hike took a bit longer than I expected and I really wish that I'd had sturdier shoes/boots (my fault entirely for not being prepared). However the local guide was really careful with all of us to ensure we stayed safe. Our guide Ismail spoke excellent English and French, was really knowledgeable and played some excellent music so the trip was really fun as well as informative.

THE BEST TOUR GUIDED DAY IVE EVER EXPERIENCED. Ismail has an incredible font of knowledge, so informative and personable. The prefect way to experience the Atlas Mountains in a day and meet local villagers. The local cuisine for breakfast and lunch was superb too. A must do for all those visiting Marrakesh.

Great experience! Mohammad was a fantastic tour guide and driver, teaching us all about Moroccan and Berber culture along the way. Very informative, funny, and accommodating. Overall, a packed, fun-filled day of exploring, hiking, and stopping for food in between.

We spent an amazing day with our guide, Mohamed. We were picked up on time and greeted warmly. On our drive to the Atlas mountains Mohamed told us a great deal of information about Morroco and it's people. He has an extensive knowledge about the culture, the area and the Berber people, it was so interesting and we learnt a great deal. We had a delicious breakfast and visited the argon oil co-operative which was fascinating. The atlas mountains are absolutely beautiful. We trekked through the valley and villages and we were even able to visit the home of our wonderful trekking guide, Ali's Mum. What a privilege. The lunch served and cooked by the kind and talented Berber family, Fatihah, Fatima and Amira was delicious. We visited all 5 valleys, each different from the next but equally beautiful. Our trip felt so special because we were taken to places that other trips don't go. This allowed us to really appreciate the peace and quiet and beauty of the mountains and valleys. We can't praise our guide Mohamed enough, a brilliant driver, with a great sense of humour and endless knowledge. A fantastic experience. We highly recommend this trip, not to be missed.

We went on the Atlas Mountain Tour as a family of four with two teenagers and can honestly say this was the best day of the holiday for all of us. Mohamed was a fantastic tour guide, explaining the geography and history of the area and bringing the trip alive for us. The day was perfectly organized so we could relax and enjoy the experience without having to worry about anything, and we felt very safe and well looked after. I would go again in a heartbeat!

Exceptional Tour!! Our guide Ismael was so awesome! He gave us so much information about the country, culture, valley and Berber people and took us to the best photo spots. A highlight was the hike in the Berber villages and delicious traditional Moroccan lunch with a local family in the most peaceful setting. In addition to being so knowledgeable, Ismael has a great sense of humor and is a wonderful photographer. A great day trip - highly recommend!

It was one of the best days spend outside Marrakesh..to hike the Atlas, to sip mint tea by the river at Ourika valley, to have lunch in the middle of nature with a Berber family, it was all so nicely packaged for the ultimate experience. Mohammed was very friendly and entertaining too, and looked after each one of us. I would definitely recommend this to all looking forward to spend a day outside the city, your trip would be incomplete without it!

Our favourite day in Morocco. Our tour guide Ismail was incredible! Not only will he teach you about the berber community and Morocco- he will also share his incredible world knowledge with you. Chances are he knows more about your country than you do. He had us laughing the whole time, played tunes when we were all too tired to talk (on the way back), and made sure everyone on the trip had a brilliant time. He also made an effort to help everyone on the tour get to know each other. He was a very safe driver. Could not recommend this experience more- if you're thinking about booking DO IT. I promise you won't regret it.

This trip was our favourite day of our time in Morocco, absolutely worth every penny. Ismail was an amazing guide with so much knowledge on so many topics - we learnt so much!! He instantly made us feel comfortable and treated us all like his close friends. The weather wasn’t great - but it didn’t matter because Ismail had such wonderfully positive energy, even though he was fasting and couldn’t enjoy any food or drinks with us. Our Berber hiking guide (Abdul), who showed us around his village, was also so welcoming and had excellent English. It was so nice to escape the chaos of Marrakech and enjoy the countryside for a day, although it was so sad to see the damage the earthquake has done to Berber villages. Lunch was delicious and the Berber family lovingly provided so much food for us, despite them not being able to eat it themselves due to ramadan. It was a real honour to eat a meal in their house and learn about their culture. We feel very lucky to have experienced this tour - we highly recommend!!

Where to start…. An outstanding trip from start to finish! We have come from the UK and our tour guide, Ismail, absolutely blew us away with his kindness, humour, generosity and knowledge - he absolutely put us to shame with his knowledge of Great Britain….and the rest! A walking encyclopaedia!!! Add to this that he was fasting as it was during the holy month of Ramadan, and we really were in awe! The trip was amazing, beautiful, jaw dropping scenery, a beautiful hike in the fresh mountain air and a stunning, home made lunch on the rooftop of a Berber family home! Excellent value for money - I would recommend to anyone - you will not be disappointed!
