The meals are quite surprising on this trek then other trekking routes Like Annapurna and Langtang regions of Nepal, all are selected items from the menu of the lodge will be fresh, hygienic and tasty. Some places, there are non-veg item meals are available however we do not recommend to take these meat items in the Everest region as they are not hygienic and healthy during the trek. The fresh and healthy meals during the trek like Dal Bhat, Vegetable items and soups items ( Garlic soup, potato soup, onion soup with the food, ) are recommended which are prepared by the local supplement and do not store as a long period of time to serve it.
- The water is available everywhere during EBC trek which cost around 2-3 dollars per liter of botels or you can also use the normal tap water for free but water purification pills are required to filter. Alpine Ramble overall made my trip to EBC very smooth from the second I landed in Kathmandu. To start of I would like to say thank you Laxman for making out trip one to remember!! Honestly, it wouldn’t have been the same without him. Our group can safely say that Laxman felt like more of a friend than a guide. He looked after us so so well and he was so accommodating for our many many questions. He made the trip a joy. He knows everyone and made sure we always got the best service possible. He took care of our every need. The flights to and from Lukla can always be unpredictable. Our flight back to Kathmandu was looking like it would be cancelled, so Laxman quickly came up with an alternative solution to make sure we got home that same day (we flew to another airport and got a taxi, instead of an expensive helicopter!) He knew and recognised our ability very quickly, helping to set the place but also ensuring that we have the flexibility to go at our own accord.Really couldn’t recommend him enough! If/when we come back to Nepal we will be asking for our friend Laxman :)I would like to appraise Dil, who helped us to choose a trekking plan adapted to our travel plans, as well as his speed on replying to my emails. Also a big thanks to Laxman, our tour guide, for taking us throughout the 9 days of amazing trekking, all the way to EBC and Kala Pathar. The lodges ...

Also a big thanks to Laxman, our tour guide, for taking us throughout the 9 days of amazing trekking, all the way to EBC and Kala Pathar. The lodges that were selected by Alpine Ramble Trek were comfortable and warm enough to enjoy this unique experience. I absolutely recommend. This trip was everything we had dreamed and more! This trip was everything we had dreamed and more! It wasn’t just the fact that we got to see mountains that we have so longed to see but the support behind us that got us there! Dilman was a most excellent guide and taught us about the culture along the way. He made sure we were always comfortable and feeling good. He oversaw how our food was prepared so we would not have any stomach issues that would ruin our trek. Dil who organized our trip was super quick and responsive to any emails. When we landed he was there to great us in the lobby of our hotel late at night to make sure we understood the itinerary and had the things we needed. He went above and beyond to track down my husband’s hiking pack from the airport and brought it to our hotel himself. He also made sure we were able to get back to Kathmandu when we needed to make it for our international flight as well as still having time for sight seeing. He also made the time along with Dilman to share a meal with us to celebrate our completed trek. I would advise anyone considering hiking in Nepal or other treks they offer to go with Alpine Ramble.Amazing trip to the Everest basecamp. Amazing trip to the Everest basecamp. It was so well-organized, and I love that we didn’t have to worry/plan for where to go, eat and sleep for the next day. It was all taken care of. The guide (Tilak) was very professional and helpful. They were well-trained for many medical situations, and they take safety seriously. I knew I was in safe hands. Thank you for making this trip go smoothly and really appreciate the experience to enjoy. This has been a challenging trek yet the sceneries we’re phenomenal. I trekked to the Everest Base Camp with Alpine Ramble Treks company in April 2022, and I would highly recommend this company to anyone planning on embarking on this adventure! There are several reasons for my recommendation - The Alpine ramble Trek was perfect: Everything from the pickup at the airport, stay at the hotel, flight to Lukla, booking of the tea-rooms, registration and the trek schedule were perfectly done and followed I had absolutely nothing to complain about during the entire stay! Excellent guide: The guide (Tilak) that this company hires also reflect the company’s philosophy of putting 'client comfort first'. My guide was not just doing their job. they often went out of the way to make sure I was comfortable and enjoying the trek. He is very kind and often gave me a glimpse of, or shared information about Sherpa culture. I liked the fact that they took the time to share some aspects of Nepali culture with me - with and evening of food, music and dance. This was an add-on, but definitely one of the highlights from the trip for me.
