Overview
On this 8-9-hour tour you will visit Alley of Letters that was built in honor to the 1600th anniversary of the creation of Armenian alphabet. This monument is unique not only in Armenia, but all around the world. Next up is lake Kari at the height of 3250m on the slopes of mount Aragats, the highest point of Armenia (4095 m). See Amberd, a fortress on the southern slope of Mount Aragats, founded in the 7th century. Up next is the visit to "Aregi" Dry Fruit and Eco-Snack Factory, where incredible combinations of fruits and vegetables await you. "Aregi" products are exclusively without sugar and additives, the factory operates by receiving solar energy through special stations. Have a lunch (own expense). Visit Saghmosavank monastery on the edge of Kasakh river canyon.

Visitors of the factory will find many taste surprises full of incredible combinations of fruits and vegetables. Here one can try a variety of dried fruits, participate in the harvest process, walk through the gardens and even see solar stations. "Aregi" will gladly host all supporters of healthy food.

Had a wonderful experience yesterday going to Saghmosavank, Alphabet Valley, and Armenia Wine Factory. This tour was a modified due to weather conditions but was still very entertaining. We were picked up very promptly from the hotel and taken to the tour office. I was asked for my Passport which I didn't have with me, nowhere on the documentation it asked me to bring a Passport. Sadly the visit to Amberd and Lake Kari were not possible because of snow fall, but the tour company...
We were picked up very promptly from the hotel and taken to the tour office. I was asked for my Passport which I didn't have with me, nowhere on the documentation it asked me to bring a Passport. Sadly the visit to Amberd and Lake Kari were not possible because of snow fall, but the tour company arranged wine tasting as an alternative with an additional monastery visit. We met our guide Inga, she was lovely. Had lots of things to say. The timings were a bit out, this was not the fault of Inga and we arrived too early for Wine Tasting. It was kind of disappointing to waste this time. By the time wine tasting was over, the group were very happy and jovial and I let them know it was my birthday. The group bonded well and enjoyed themselves, Inga never rushed us. We went to lunch, again it didn't feel rushed. You have a choice of 3 menu items. Earlier, I said to Inga that there wasn't really anything I could eat. She kindly had the tour company change the restaurant which is something I really appreciated. After lunch we made a brief stop at Alphabet Alley and then headed back to Yerevan for our master class to bake cake. It was delicious and Inga sat with us as we continued to chat. Before we know it, it was already 7pm. It was a great tour, we met as strangers and left as friends.Nava_S
