We had a wonderful VIP experience of the Giza pyramids, Saqqara, Egyptian museum, and Coptic Churches. Our guide, Ahmed Zaki, was extremely knowledgeable and gave us great background on the sites. He also told us what to expect at each site and took us to the most important sections, to keep our experience efficient in the heat of summer. He knows someone at every site and made our experience easy and got us through without standing at any lines. Definitely would recommend him through Memphis tours. Our driver, Hassan, was very timely and courteous, and drove us safely around Cairo. They even made unscheduled stops for us when we needed to stop at a pharmacy and wanted different lunch plans. I will update once we complete the rest of our trip.We had a wonderful time in Cairo mainly because of our excellent tour guide (David Boshra). We had a wonderful time in Cairo mainly because of our excellent tour guide (David Boshra). David was really good in hosting us for several days showing us the historic sites (pyramids, Sphinx, Coptic church, etc) and giving us a walk through of the museums while informing us of the rich Egyptian history. In addition, we got to visit the market and enjoy some Egyptian food. I would definitely recommend Memphis Tours and our tour guide David if you’re planning a trip to Cairo. We had a couple of amazing days in Cairo to visit the city and its wonders. Memphis Tours is a PREMIUM tour guide agency in Cairo to see the GIZA Pyramids, Saqqara, Memphis, the Citadel, Egyptian Museum, etc... This is the second time we used the company and we had a very good experience with our guide and driver. This year we were guided by Dr. Mohammed Youseff. He was an AWESOME guide - very knowledgable, funny, kind, attentive, and flexible with our time/schedule. He was prompt at our hotel the day of the tour with a nice comfortable air-conditioned vehicle. We really enjoyed our time with him....even though this was our second time at the Pyramids Dr. Mohammed made it seem like it was the first time - we learned so many new things. Our driver was Anwar - who was a very gentle and caring person and driver. We had great conversations with theAnwar who was always there waiting for us in the heat with ice cold water bottles. When we go back to Cairo we will make sure you request Dr. Mohammed Youseff and Anwar again - they were BEST. I am only giving 4 stars to Memphis because I had a bad interaction with one of the administrators during my booking - Maged Mahmoud. There was a miscommunication regarding the day of the booking. I e-mailed the company inquiring about one day, and I booked on the website for another day. Maged did not look at my booking date - only my e-mail inquiry. No big deal - easy fix....however, Maged asked that we pay for a new booking and lose our initial payment....even though we booked on the website for the correct day. I was naturally very irritated that Maged would not re-book without a new payment - especially because it was a mistake on his end. After a back and forth with him regarding this issue - which was irritating ....I decided to cancel the tour and dispute the charge with my credit card company. When I told Maged about cancelling - he agreed to move forward with the tour at no additional cost (which is what he should have done in the beginning). We agreed because we were already in contact with Dr. Youseff and he seemed extremely nice and knowledgable - we wanted to make sure we kept the tour with him. And we are so grateful that we did. Memphis Tours has the the most knowledgable and friendly Egyptologist guides in Cairo, and the most comfortable vehicles with the best drivers. Hands down! The issue from above is not a reflection on the drivers or guides - only the booking administrator Maged Mahmoud. When in Cairo - Memphis Tours is the only tour company to go with - and Dr. Mohammed Youseff and Anwar are the ONLY people to request! Ask Dr. Youseff about LiveScience article about him and his work in Archaeology....extremely impressive!Spectacular trip to the pyramids and the Egyptian Museum. Spectacular trip to the pyramids and the Egyptian Museum. Ayman Shousha our tour guide and Ahmed Arnoub our driver made this trip to be a five star tour. We felt really safe with Ahmed, he is really an excellent driver. Ayman was very knowledgeable about the history of the pyramids and knew the perfect places to take pictures. I really want to thank them both for making this experience a wonderful one. Also the museum is full of history and Ayman was excellent in explaining every aspect of it. I will certainly recommend this tour with them anytime.
