This is a typical itinerary for this product
Stop At: Mutianyu Great Wall, Mutianyu Village, Bohai Town, Huairou District, Beijing China
Take Mubus to get to the Mutianyu Great Wall from Beijing downtown. Upon arrival, your tour guide will save you hassle by buying the tickets for you, then drive you to the foot of the Mutianyu Great Wall, instead of making you queue for the shuttle bus. Once you've ascended the Wall, see and climb the impressive defensive watch towers to take in the serene scenery of streams and lush greenery that surround this section of the Great Wall.
After climbing the Great Wall, you can come back to the “Mubus Family” to relax. Located in the center of the Mutianyu scenic area, it is a special lounge area only reserved for the Mubus travelers, offering them with a comfortable place to rest, a restaurant with local specialties, beer and coffee. When you have buffet lunch on the viewing platform, you will appreciate a very magnificent scenery by the intersection of the two sections of the Great Wall here, Mutianyu Great Wall and Jiankou Great Wall which’s well-known “steepest Great Wall of China”. This is a memorable place to take photos.

i booked my trip on the MUBUS website. They called back a few hours later to confirm my reservation. We met at the swissotel at 7:30. There were several foreigners and we were encouraged to stick together. The tour guide Claire was awesome! She answered all the questions and helped as much as she could! They provide a buffet lunch at the MUBUS restaurant. It was pretty good although the drinks were separate cost.. This is a very helpful and well organized tour!Very well organized and the host Michael was very friendly! I was on my own and felt vert welcomed. Highly suggested. Also December is low travel season in China so it was very uncrowded.

We visited the Great Wall on the 21st January 2020 with our three children 10, 9 and 8. We opted for option C and took the cable car up and the toboggan down. Bus - clean and safely driven. Felt free to focus on listening to the guide, Tony, and looking at the view and generally having a good time. Commentary - conversational English. No issues understanding or being understood. Good level of detail and more information and explanation available where questions were asked. Tony takes a proactive approach and prompts for questions and shares a good amount of historic information and trivia throughout the trip. Lunch - We all enjoyed this authentic Chinese lunch. Hot and tasty! Toboggan - We all enjoyed this. The youngest was frustrated she had to ride with an adult. Carts are a little small if your over 6’ but manageable. Not very fast or thrilling as quite a few people slow down to take photos. Cable car - view isn’t especially impressive, but valuable as it saves your legs for the wall, or should I say Great Stairs. Tour on the wall - worth it. Tony was knowledgeable and the guided walk really helped give a sense of the history, purpose and context of the wall. Amenities - before you ride the shuttle up to the wall from base camp there are plenty of little shops and stall selling season appropriate stuff. So if you want a snack or trinket to take away there are plenty of opportunities to get one. The Mubus centre itself is clean and comfortable. Note: You will need cash to pay for the toboggan, ski lift, cable car etc. Others have said plenty about the wall so have focused on Mubus - who deserve a strong thumbs up from us for families with young children visiting the Great Wall. The point of meeting was right outside Starbucks. It was a great adventure with Mubus. I highly recommend the tour with Michael. He tried always to fulfil everybody’s interests and needs . He gave us a really brief but warm introduction to the Great Wall on the bus. I have also bought the 40 minutes history tour about the Great Wall which was awesome explained by Michael and worthwhile. I highly recommend the tour with Michael.Tony was great! Tony was great! Can’t beat this tour for the price. As stated, no extra tourist stops. You get up to 4-4.5 hours on the wall, which was plenty. I’d recommend taking the chair lift/toboggan (120RMB), this would have been perfect amount for a round trip walk. I took the cable car and was done relatively early. The walk up isn’t difficult but taking the lift will save you time that you can spend on the wall. If you’re feeling brave, you can climb over a gate at tower 20 and keep going for some more amazing views. Lunch was basic but good, even if you don’t get it with your ticket you can still purchase something for 30-50RMB. Only issue I had was my reservation said 730 departure, and other guests said 8 (left at 810), so I sat there and waited 40 extra minutes. Would recommend you reach out and confirm departure when you book
