Clear communication before the tour started and prompt pick up in the morning. The entire day was outlined clearly whilst we started the journey in the comfort of the shuttle with A/C, fresh water and complimentary snacks. We spent over 3hrs at Chichén Itza as Alondra’s knowledge and passion really bought the experience to life for us. Following the tour around the ruins we had an authentic and delicious lunch in a local town. Finally, we visited a stunning community run Cenote to cool off after the warm day. I would thoroughly recommend this tour for anyone who is genuinely interested in understanding the Mayan culture in more detail. Thanks for a great day guys!

We had a fabulous time. Our guide Carlos knew his stuff incredibly well. Very interesting - and he was a great guy. He also took care of transportation, tolls, lunch, lines, everything. On our own it would have been a very different experience.

It was definitely worth it, Luigi did an excellent job explaining and making it enjoyable, the whole tour was amazing. Food, culture and nature what else can you ask for? I know what, a professional photographer lol…. Luigi was the best taking pictures for us, make different sides, angles and poses. Just awesome experience.

We highly recommend this tour. Luigi, our guide, was very knowledgeable and friendly and we learnt a lot about the city of Chichen Itsa in an interesting and informative way. We then had a lovely meal at a restaurant in Valladolid and were able to look around the picturesque town. In the afternoon we visited a beautiful cenote which was a refreshing way to end our day. The water is crystal clear and not overcrowded. Luigi provided us with plenty of purified water to drink during the day and bananas and cookies to eat in the car on the way there. Chichen Itsa is a very hot location so wear sunscreen and bug repellent with a sunhat. Plenty of souvenirs to buy afterwards. There is a place to change at the cenote so bring your swimming costume. The tour bus picks you up from your hotel and drops you back at the end of the day. There are also only 6 people per tour which makes it more enjoyable.

We had an amazing day visiting Chichen Itza, a cenote and Valladolid town. The tour was very organized, without too many activities packed in a single day. The guide Paloma was a star, she is warm, friendly, knowledgeable and made sure everyone had a great experience! The driver Gaspar was also great, very reliable and ponctual! Woudl definitely recommend it!

Right from the time we were picked up from our Airbnb until we were dropped off in the evening, our experience was excellent! Carlos is the most knowledgeable tour guide I have had at Chitzenitza (I have been two other times and the depth of knowledge Carlos has, far exceeded the others). He and Axel (driver) were fun and professional. Lunch was delicious in a beautiful colonial Spanish style hotel in Valladolid and our cenote experience was incredible as it was just our small group of 9. Having a small tour made the experience so much more enjoyable. The snacks provided were nutritious and yummy. I would highly recommend this tour company! I will definitely be using their services again in the future. Thanks again Carlos and Axel!

Was a great experience. Cesar was an extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic tour guide. He made sure “Everything was clear like the water of the Cenotes”. If you’re going to Chichen Itza, you must book this tour, it was a small group so it wasn’t a lot of chaos with wrangling the group. We had lunch at a really nice hotel and the food delicious was delicious. Finally, the cenote that we finished the day at was perfect. It wasn’t crowded, we gave us an hour to experience it. I think the group towards the end was a little tired so we only spent about 20 minutes there. FYI it’s approximately an 11-12 hour tour. Never the less the tour was perfect 5/5.

I had a great time! Transport: Small van that holds up to 10 passengers. It was a new, clean vehicle with good air conditioning. Our driver, Rubin, drove safely. There was a brief pit stop about an hour away from Chichen to use the restrooms. Chichen Itzá: Excellent tour with our guide, Marco. I appreciated the pictures to help narrate Mayan beliefs. The tour content added meaningful historical context. Lunch: Delicious! We went to a nice restaurant with a beautiful inner courtyard in the main plaza of Valladolid. It is a 3 course meal (not buffet style), consisting of chips/guac, then your choice of 1 of 5 entrees, and your choice of 1 of 3 desserts. The mole chicken was tasty. Service was efficient. Cenote: Magical! I was expecting this to by kind of a throwaway stop, but it ended up being one of our favorite experiences in Mexico. It’s a giant cavern with rare dappled sunlight. (I appreciated this, because it’s mandatory to rinse off any sunscreen beforehand). You can do jumps from platforms, swim around, etc. Beware: Put your jewelry and watches away before swimming, because the cenote is deep and lost items are truly lost. I learned a pricey lesson. Organization: Excellent. The tour was well-timed. We were at Chichen when the sun was high in the sky, which helped to demonstrate astronomical elements of the structures. We went to the cenote when it was still hot outside, so it was refreshing. Safety: Excellent. Never had any concerns. We stayed in fairly well-traveled areas the whole time. Other: They have snacks and filtered water on the bus.

We are so glad we went on this day trip from Tulum to Chichen Itza! Paloma our guide and Carlos our driver were always friendly, cheerful, and made sure we were taken care of. They provided purified water and snacks for the journey. Paloma was very informative - she went over background history during the car ride, and provided a lovely tour of the sites (both at Chichen Itza and in Valladolid). She always answered our questions and helped us take good photos as well. Thanks for hosting a great tour!

This was absolutely one of the best tours of its kind that I have ever taken. If you would like a very deep look into the history, architecture, and religion of the Mayan culture, this tour is highly recommended. Paloma is extremely knowledgeable about the subject and answered all of our questions thoroughly. Gualberto our driver was extremely courteous and helpful in various aspects of the trip. The itinerary was very well timed and we were able avoid the biggest crowds in all the locations. The cenote swim was a magical experience.

Our tour guide (Leira) and driver (Nikko) did a great job taking my family and I around Yucatán. The van was air conditioned, clean, provided filtered water and even snacks. Leira was very knowledgeable and explained all of the history and archeological sites well. We were given enough time to explore between each activity which was fantastic. The food was great, authentic, and most of all delicious. The Cenote was our favorite. Serene and private. I would give them 6/5 stars.

Great experience! Well planned and organized. Cezar was our guide and was very knowledgeable about the history and cultures. Vallodolit was charming and the lunch was very good. the cenote was perfect! Our group literally had the whole place to ourselves. If your goal it to just snap some insta selfies you're probably better with an audio tour. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to learn about this history and culture.

This was our first time in Tulum (Mexico in general) and came to experience Chichen Itza along with some cenotes and to learn more about the region and it's history. We chose this tour after reading many great reviews and by recommendation of tmour hotel concierge and this tour did not disappoint! Our guide Paloma, along with our driver Arturo, took great care of us and others in our group and made this trip one of the best day trips I have ever done. We were picked up at our hotel on the south end of the Hotel Zone on time and then proceeded to make three more stops to pick up additional members of the group. Paloma made sure that we had plenty of purified water available to us at all times and also had some wonderful snacks, including these cookies with sesame and honey and they were so amazing. And the best part is they have locals who prepare these snacks for the trips instead of larger companies. That was a nice touch. Following about a 2 hour drive from Tulum we arrived at Chichen Itza. It was about 9:30am I believe when we arrived. So it was still early, not very hot, and not very crowded. Visiting Chichen Itza has been on our bucket list for years and I am so happy we were finally able to do it. It was amazing, awe inspiring and very thought provoking. Our guide, Paloma, knew so much about the history of the site and gave us an amazing tour. She also provided some really good tips about the various merchants that sell on the property. (Note, if you must buy something, buy it in the way out, everything is cheaper). After about 2.5 hours at Chichen Itza we departed for our next stop, Valladolid. It was a very charming town, and once again Paloma provided great insight into that community and it's history. Included in the trip was a lunch, at a colonial restaurant in town. And let me tell you. I've been on many many day trips with lunch included and this was way better than anything I have ever had. Paloma took our order while we were in transit so by the time we arrived, it was barely 5-10 minutes before food was served. And it was AMAZING!!! I highly suggest the enchiladas mole!!! OMG. After our lunch and tour of the town we headed to our last stop. Our cenote. For our tour we stopped at cenote Xux Ha, run my local Mayans. And it would be impossible to explain with words how breathtakingly amazing it was. Awe inspiring. Peaceful. Spiritual. Almost felt like being in another world. I cannot highly recommend this tour, Mexico Kan Tours, and our wonderful guide Paloma a enough. The tour company communicated regularly and clearly as well, which was very appreciated. WhatsApp is their preferred communications choose here in Mexico it seems, so definitely familiarize yourself with it before coming. Makes things real easy.

Our tour guide was great. She gave us history and background of the Mayan culture. The village of Valladolid where we had lunch, the food was delicious and the cenote we swam in. The whole day was great. The only thing that would have been better was to have had our passports to get stamped at Chichen Itzá. You should remind people to bring their passports, if they choose.

The tour was very well planned and in spite of being a 10 hour trip, there were lots of breaks to ensure nobody was tired. We felt safe through the trip and our guide Alonso struck the right balance in being knowledgeable and practical. Chichen Itza is worth a visit (inspite of the heat) and lunch was in a charming restaurant delivering a proper Yucatán experience. Would highly recommend this trip (and our guide, Alonso)!
