Took the tour with Alondra - it was excellent! Pick up from our hotel was bang on time. Only one other couple so it was effectively a semi-private tour. Comfortable van for transportation with AC, water and snacks. No upselling (was mentioned on some other tour companies reviews). An informative and interesting tour of the Chichén Itza, a tasty and hearty meal and the Xu Ha Cenote was incredible, definitely the highlight and a great note to end on. No hesitation in recommending. Alondra was a great tour guide, funny, and with impeccable English. My only note to other travellers would be to bring US Dollars - the tour is priced in USD however we paid for the tour in MX pesos and the exchange rate offered wasn't great. Didn't detract from the experience however so 5* nonetheless.Alondra was a fantastic guide! Warm, funny, real and had the best playlist I could've asked for! Alondra was a fantastic guide! Warm, funny, real and had the best playlist I could've asked for! The day started a little rough as the other guests we were picking up weren't exactly "prompt" in being ready to go, but a quick stop at a convenience store for coffee and snacks (very welcome on a long road trip like this) and we were on our way. After a great tour of Chichen Itza we stopped in Valladolid for the best meal I had all week. Can't state enough how great the restaurant was and were allotted a half hour to wander around town and shop. Perfect amount of time. Afterwards we stopped at a private cenote that was absolutely stunning and a perfect end to a beautiful day. Thanks Alondra and Danny! We had such a great intimate tour led by Paloma! She was very informative, switching between 3 languages (Spanish, French and English) with a positive and kind attitude. The day itself was perfect, we had a great view of the pyramid away from other tourist groups (thanks to Paloma!), an AMAZING lunch in Valladolid included and clean, air conditioned small mini van for the 6 of us. Alondra was a fantastic guide! She was real, warm, welcoming and funny from the start. Chichen Itza should be on everyone's bucket list to see. The stop in Valladolid was perfect with one of the best meals I ate all week paired with just enough time to explore this beautiful town. Capped off with a refreshing swim in a stunning cenote, this was a long day, but not one I would miss if I were you.
