I enjoyed the food experience on a beautiful evening in Reykjavík. Dagur was an awesome guide with lots of great info and stories.

Our tour guide Minty was so sweet. He took us to 5 different places, each one better than the next. He was a wealth of knowledge about everything Iceland and gave us great recommendations of places to try for the rest of our stay. All of the food was delicious. We had a total of 7 people on our tour and the group size was just right. I highly recommend this tour, my cousin and I had a wonderful experience. Thanks Minty for the great tour!

There was a good variety of food and drink, and it was a nice orientation to the city. Minty our guide did an excellent job of keeping us all on track and entertained, including the children on our tour. I highly recommend this tour!

We loved our tour with Minty. He was very informative and gave us a great education about the food in Iceland as well as some history. Loved the Artic Char, the Rye Bread ice cream and the traditional Icelandic Hot Dog. Highly recommend scheduling a tour with him.

We started our first day of our trip with Noki and it was honestly the best way to start our Iceland adventure! The history, personal color, and details he gave us both about the food but also Reykjavik and Iceland as a whole set the perfect tone for the rest of our trip and really gave us a solid grounding for our time. The food was DELICIOUS (I think I ate Arctic Char every day after this tour) and we had such a lovely time seeing the city, getting great context and history, and laughed so much along the way. Noki was an absolutely INCREDIBLE host and I will recommend this tour to everyone I know who travels to Reykjavik without hesitation! Thank you for a truly memorable evening!

Ben was our tour guide for the day. It felt like we spent the afternoon with a friend. The restaurants we visited were perfect and the food was delicious. For us, the lobster tacos at Sjávargrillið🦞were definitely our favorite, amazing flavors, beautiful presentation. And the piece de resistance, the Rye bread ice cream at Cafe Loki was a delicious treat! We arrived in Iceland at 6:00 am the day of our food walk and it was the perfect way to start our vacation. 🤩

Burger was INCREDIBLE! The food on the tour was authentic, delicious and plentiful! The walk was PERFECT, gave you a flavor of the area…. 100% recommend this tour!!

The food tour with Andri was so much. He was a great guide, so positive and he did a good job getting the whole group to have fun together. If you’ve never had Char, this is the tour for you.

We really enjoyed this walking food tour. Doing walking food tours is now our go-to move for getting our bearings in a new city, and this is about the sixth one that I've done. The guide makes a huge difference in how enjoyable these tours are, and a huge shout out to Bergur for making this an excellent tour. He provided an excellent mix of info about Iceland, his personal story, great recommendations about food, and even some good music tips. Be sure to check out a group that Berger drums for, Vök (available in all the normal places, including Spotify). This tour hit all the Iceland standbys, including delicious hot dogs, lamb stew, great seafood, and even fermented shark served with black death--and more. We also got good recommendations for some places not on the tour. The weather was certainly "authentic" on the day we did the tour in late March, so make sure to dress for the weather! I would definitely recommend this tour, and hanging out with Bergur, to anyone looking for a great time.

The tour was really fun! It was a great group and Emma is a wonderful guide. The walking was at a good pace (I'm not in the best shape, so I was worried I would lag behind) and all the food was amazing.

I recently did the Reykjavik Food Walk with our guide, Noki, and I couldn't recommend it enough. The food was delicious. I enjoyed learning about the history and cultural importance of the dishes. I was also pleasantly surprised to learn so much about Reykjavík and Iceland itself. I was expecting just a food oriented tour but got so much more with it. Noki was awesome. Pleasant, entertaining, and personable. If you enjoy trying new foods and are curious to learn a lot more than you would by randomly walking around, I highly suggest this tour.

Our Reykjavík food tour guide was Stevie through Wake Up Reykjavík! He was such a joy! He’s a local and knew so much about the history, local shenanigans, and best places to eat. The 3 hour tour flew by. We chose the dinner tour and it was perfect. 5 different dishes! I’d say we walked about a mile in all? We started at the Harpa Concert hall and ended at Hallgrimskirka church. 100% recommend.

This was the trip of a lifetime! We have read about the food tours and made sure that was at the top of our list "to do" in Iceland. Ben was our tour guide and he was absolutely FANTASTIC! 10/10 would recommend using him for a food tour. The best part of the tour was what he added to it, with personal stories and extended historical knowledge of not just the food, but the country!
