Magnetic Island has 26 beaches to explore, set amongst a stunning landscape of rugged granite boulders and Hoop Pines. Snorkel colourful fringing reefs, explore secluded bays and beaches, meet some marine and bird-life "friends" and learn about the Great Barrier Reef with our Master Reef Guides. Your hosts, Steph and Adam, have been exploring beautiful Magnetic Island for over 39 years, they love to share the stories, history and their connection with this island they call their home. Come as guests and leave as friends. This is transformational and personalised touring at it's best!

What to expect
Our 5 hour Discovery Tour is a combination of snorkelling fringing reefs, exploring secluded bays, and learning all about beautiful Magnetic Island. Benefit from having Master Reef Guides on tour sharing the stories of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park. Personalised to suit our guests with small tour numbers, your amazing adventure starts with us.
Activities include exploring secluded pristine bays and beaches, birdlife, snorkel beautiful fringing reefs, reef education with Master Reef Guides, interactions with fish "friends", and marine life - whales (July to Sept), stories and indigenous history all in the one tour. Stand Up Paddle boards, floating pontoon to sit on and relax. Enjoy a morning tea on a secluded beach and connect with the special places we explore on Magnetic Islands iconic and stunning coastline.
Morning tea and all equipment for activities is provided for you.
Snorkel tuition is provided in a safe and caring environment.

Everything was just perfect, from the amazing snorkeling, pontoon float for the children, to the great morning tea on a lovely beach, even the weather turned it on for us. We absolutely loved this tour with Adam, due to the recent rain and windy conditions, we could not snorkel.. but Adam completely adjusted the tour to suit, and it was just amazing! He communicated the weather conditions with us the night before so that if we did not want to go due to snorkeling not being possible we could cancel and get refunded or rebook. We got a little taste of all the tours rolled into one. We saw ship wrecks, mangroves, wildlife… and Adam knew the whole history of each aspect… we saw places that you would never see without this tour. If you are looking for a genuine local who grew up here and knows this island better than anyone.. you can not go past these guys… words just can not describe how awesome it was, we really can’t speak more highly of these tours, we even want to book another one before we leave!! Do your selves a favour and book with these guys.We thought we were doing a sunset cruise for a 50th (with about 12 kids) and had nibblies and drinks with music having a great time. It was awesome! The only bad part was we didn’t know. That didn’t stop some of us who got their gear off to put the stinger suit on and get in the water. For those not wanting to get wet the water was shallow enough to walk to the beach. It was a perfect afternoon. The boys are awesome sharing interesting information about Magnetic Island. They are so relaxed and great with the kids. Adults and kids picked this as their favourite thing on Maggie 🌴❤️What an absolutely magnificent day out! Adam is so knowledgeable and a great story teller, he has you hooked on Magnetic Island immediately. He is very safety conscious and tweaks the trip according to the weather conditions.
