The best tour I have ever joined in years. John is very knowlegde and fun to be with. Dispute tje nad weather and close out of attraction due to the coronavirus, John still managed to take us to many, many awesome places with picture perfect sight. Being a professional photography himself would help you the photos at the best possible angle. I would have given him a perfect 10 score. The tour is not the cheapest but it is the best money you are going to spend. It covered most of the best places in one single day and still allow enough time for photos at every stop. And it is a combination of a photo tour, sight seeing, and movie scenes tour all in one. He also used his professional camera to take photos for you. Highly recommended tour for every visitor to Honolulu. If you have difficulty picking one. This is the one. Not need to think twice. This was a fantastic small group tour around the island of Oahu. John, our guide & owner of this company was very personable. He picked us up from a rental apartment in Waikiki. He took us along with another group of 3 people to breathtaking popular as well as off the beat & path places around the island & pointed out which movies were filmed there along as the history & culture of the island. He took lots of pictures of my husband & I with our phone cameras & gave us pointers on best angles & ways to capture the scenery. John also brought his camera out & did a few photo shoot sessions of us which turned out great & then sent them to us without an additional cost. We went to the well known Giovannis shrimp truck for lunch with lots of options to get food from other food trucks. I got a chance to swim in the waterfalls at the beautiful gardens which was amazing. Highlights also include the gorgeous secluded white sand beach, blow holes from the lava tubes the magnificent sunset at turtle beach. John also offered us lots of suggestions on places to eat in Waikiki & further explore for the remainder of our vacation. This tour was well worth it & one hundred times better then going on a large tour bus to see the sights of the island! I have traveled across 30 different countries, and done multiple tours and never have I come across one quite like this. John well and truly exceeded our expectations with his level of photography knowledge, and willingness to go above and beyond to help us get 'the perfect shot'. Unlike any other tour operator, John invests time in each member and assists them with whatever photography device you have, to allow you to capture beautiful images regardless of your platform. He explains common photography terms, and even educates you on the different functions specific to your own camera. Furthermore, John added in an additional surprise, capturing photos of us throughout the day, and sending them through to us via email. I invested a significant amount of time in researching the various tour providers on the island, comparing which company would give us the best island tour, incorporating all the key sights of Oahu, and this tour ticked all the boxes. We couldn't have been happier. If you want to experience what Oahu has to offer, look no further.
