This was a lovely tour! Tony and Tom did a great job telling us about the locations and their history. My group was most interested in Stonehenge. We had not really researched Bath; it turned out to be a wonderful stop. The secret place was great! The views on the way were stunning. There’s no way a big tour bus could ever reach it. Also, being in a small group tour made it possible to connect with the guide and your brand new tour mates.

We had the most amazing day and we have Tony and Val to thank for it. They were great tour guides! Our entire family enjoyed the three stops and all of their commentary.

This is the 2nd time I've used the English bus, and I was outstanding. Tony did an amazing job as our tour guide. He was a wealth of information about the sites we visited as well as information on many other things we saw as we toured the countryside. I highly recommend you use this firm and hopefully, Tony will be your guide.

This was an excellent tour. Cara was our guide and took amazing care of us. My mother, who has a cane and walks very slowly, was with us and Cara made her feel so safe and made sure to provide a little extra help whenever possible. The knowledge shared was fascinating and really enhanced the entire experience. The bus is very clean and Cara was a great driver making it all feel so effortless. My entire group would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in a day trip. Well done, The English Bus!

LOVED it! Lucy was so entertaining and a wonderful guide. My goal was to see more of England while we stayed in London and we really did with this tour. I was traveling with my husband and three of my 20 something children and ALL of us thought the trip was exceptional and the highlight of our week in the UK. It is a full day but never felt too long. If you are looking for a tour - THIS IS THE ONE. Thank you Lucy for showing us SO many things in England and teaching us a lot about the history and culture of the area while laughing and having fun.

We had a wonderful time on our tour. Our tour guide Lucy was great. She was knowledgeable and wonderful answering questions from the kids on the tour. We enjoyed the small group experience. Weather was variable, so it was nice to get back in the bus when it started raining. We had enough time to see the center of Bath and get some food for a late lunch. The tour is a long day, but that was expected. It was great to get out of London to see the countryside. Highly recommend!

It was a great day visiting Stonehenge and Bath! Lucy the tour guide brought a great spirit and a wealth of knowledge to the day, offering her perspectives, answering questions, and sharing a bunch of stories along the way. And we got to go to an awesome secret place on the way back! The only "even better if" I would offer is it would have been nice if Lucy accompanied us at the sites (at least Stonehenge) for live knowledge sharing but it may have been difficult to keep us all organized - and the upside is that every group got their own alone time. I would also have more info on lunch options in the description as that was an unknown going in. But that aside, definitely a 5 star day and would highly recommend.

This tour was SO fun. Lucy and Val were our guides, and we had a great small group of people from US, Canada, and Australia. We loved Bath so much and the secret place was outstanding! Stonehenge is super cool—if you are able, take the stroll back through the gorgeous green hills. Lucy and Val were so knowledgeable and it was just an outstanding day. Highly recommend!

So glad we booked this excursion! The small group tour was perfect! We appreciated not being packed in with tons of other people. Our guide, Carol, was incredible. So knowledgeable and you could tell she loved her job. She got us off the beaten path so we could see more than other yours offered. Bath was especially wonderful with time to explore options of our choosing. We especially enjoyed the mystery of the secret place and discovering some of England lesser known magic. ❤️ If you’re on the fence about which tour to book, hands-down, you can end your research here, book this one! A wonderful informative educational relaxing tour. Our guide was wonderful, funny, patient, knowledgeable, kind with an amazing memory. She knew and remembered everyone’s names on the tour. We appreciated how well the trip was organised and that we never felt particularly rushed. We enjoyed Stonehenge( just be prepared for a blustery cold walk there). Bath was great and the secret trip at the end was special. All in all the tour was outstanding. Finally our tour guide Cara was simply marvellous. I give the tour 5 stars and Cara 110%.

TAKE THIS TOUR! What a great day. Our tour guide, Lilly, was quite knowledgeable, but even more entertaining. Kept us laughing, well informed, and in good spirits as we visited Stonehenge, Bath, and a “secret place,” which clearly sounds a bit hokey, but was well worth it. I think it basically means they have a few options, quaint little off the beaten path villages and such, and they gauge the mood and make up of the group in order to make the decision on which place to go for that last stop. Ours made one of the hardest to impress on the tour, a younger person, a little giddy with excitement at one of the little features there. I’ve worked as a guide (fishing outfitter) and I know what good hospitality looks like and takes. This outfit has it. They’re not a big operation, which probably helps them keep their level of care high. They were able to adjust to an unfortunate and unforeseen incident of sickness, without it ruining or really even affecting our experience. They showed us a little more than necessary and, as mentioned, made it fun and light. Great job Lilly and The English Bus!

Cara was an amazing guide! She made an effort to get to know us and was warm, energetic, and super knowledgeable not only about the itinerary stops but also the parts of London we drove through. Loved seeing Stonehenge, Bath, and “the secret place” under her guidance. The bus was great too! Highly recommend this tour company and will use again.
