Carlos provided great history about the neighborhoods we visited, but also more candid personal anecdotes and reactions to our questions that really gave us a feel for life in BA. This tour is excellent value and well worth five hours of your time. It’s an extremely informative, relaxing, and down-to-earth experience that makes you feel less of a tourist and more like you’re hanging out with a local who just happens to have a couple of spare bikes lying around. My guide was Carlos and there was only one other person in the group, but another four wouldn't have been a problem at all. Carlos speaks in flawless English, takes things at a smooth pace, and has an answer to any question you can think of. I’m normally put off going on tours because you can end up feeling like part of a herd - they also tend to be led by someone who insists on constantly asking everybody if they’re “having a GOOD TIME!?” This is the exact opposite of that - low-key in the best possible way, and an educational pleasure from start to finish. My girlfriend and I just had a great morning tour! We found multiple options before and chose this company because: it's must cheeper than most :). But it's perfect! It's a small really friendly company, and the tour guides are locals and can tell in perfect English a lot of fun and interesting things. Not only about the things you see, but also (if you like) the current social and political situation and the history of Argentina. For lunch they found a relaxed spot where you can choose you sandwich and drink (free, and it's more than enough). We were less looking forward to the mate thee session (we wanted to see the town) but even that was good fun and a chill moment to talk about Argentina and other stuff. Wow, what an amazing experience. We spent the morning with Carlos, our guide, who really helped us understand so much about both Argentina and Buenos Aires. The bikes were in great condition and the bike routes around the city were a big help. We made many stops where Carlos told us the history and significance of the area. Carlos was both knowledgeable and proud of this beautiful city and fully aware of the current political and economical situation of the country. We felt safe and very well entertained during our time on the tour. We especially appreciated our introduction into the mate drinking tradition and the wonderful lunch that was provided. Highly recommend this tour, probably one of the best we’ve taken and there have been many of them.
