No hidden restaurants, 3 of 5 Stopps were cheap, fried food and all were in a super touristic area. Experiences much better food tours in other cities. Could not recommend.

Good: Overall a fun experience!! I tried several things that I had never eaten before and some great versions of food that I have! Lots of little places and bars that aren't exactly hidden (they are in major areas) but definitely not ones that I would know to go to walking on the street since I don't speak or read Japanese. They break it up into groups of max 8 to keep it manageable. Love meeting the other people who came along, they were fun. Not so good: Great food but rushed timetable. I liked the pace initially so we could try more but some places were a lot, with the amount of food to consume in not a lot of time. I was full but didn't get to savor things much. FYI: All 3 of the tour guides who gave our group a tour were non-Japanese ex-pats (Canadian, Australian). Just FYI if you're looking for a tour with Japanese locals -- this probably isn't it. Lovely fun guys irregardless!Enjoyed the food and learned a lot about Osaka from our wonderful guide. I would recommend this tour.

We had an amazing evening with Anna, popping into lots of local establishments. So happy we decided to give a food tour a try as it allowed us to squeeze in a lot of new dishes, meet some great people, and get information about the area and its food. Anna was very funny, informative, and seemed well known and liked by the locals/restaurant owners. She also looked after checking into an allergy concern at each establishment, which can be difficult (no reactions :D). I wouldn't hesitate to recommend other people take a tour with her. All the food was tasty, and you need not worry about quantity. By the end, each of us was looking at one-another trying to decide who could muster the final bites. What a great night!Michael was a fantastic host, really friendly and knowledgeable! He made the tour fun and went above and beyond by giving some further recommendations which we really appreciated. Highly recommended!
