Overview
♥ 25 km away from Hoi An to the North, Marble Mountains include 5 majestic granite peaks. It was rumored that these were the left behind eggshells of the dragon Queen after the birth of a beautiful princess. At the beginning of the 19th century, while passing through this region Gia Long King named the mountains after five basic elements : Metal, Wood, Water, Fire and Earth. You will be strongly attracted by many stunning caves, statues and temples. Walking 157 stone steps to reach the top, you will be greeted by the breathtaking panorama of the beach. Marble Mountains have been a major pilgrimage site since Cham time and was also a guerrila base during American war. These mountains have things to suit every interests and should not be missed.
♥ Another prominent attraction in Da Nang is Dragon Bridge. A very popular place where G.I Joe would come to unwind.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Marble Mountain and seeing Lady Buddha at Monkey Mountain. There is so much to see (Marble Mountain is vast with MANY sites to see, including the breathtaking famous sites that are commonly found online) - with the site being large with rich history, going with a guide is the way to go (namely, Vincent!). Vincent is very knowledgeable about the sites and even shared interesting information about Hoi An and Da Nang en route. He is incredibly thoughtful and has great touches that are added throughout the tour (including a great homemade snack!). He also has many great photo stops along the way. I was very lucky to enjoy the beautiful marble mountains with our excellent and friendly guide, Vincent. Vincent was caring, funny, very knowledgeable and always prioritized our experience. He was always flexible, and genuinely happy to see us enjoy our tour. The day was a perfect length with a delicious afternoon snack. Seeing the Buddhist alters on the mountain was a moving and spiritual experience. The “cathedral” was one of the most incredible things I have ever seen, and it is something I will always remember. I would highly recommend this tour, I guarantee you’ll walk away with incredible photographs, and memories to last a lifetime.
