Not far from Memphis, a visit to the city of Saqqara funerary and its other world houses for the ancient Egyptians. Saqqara contains the first stone structure in the world, which is the step pyramid of Saqqara built by "King Djoser" and the funerary temple. See the oldest religious texts written in the history of mankind and decorations and colors that have preserved their luster for More than 4000 years old

Stop At: Pyramids of Dahshour, Giza Egypt
We conclude the tour with a visit to the pyramids of Dahshur which date back more than 4, 600 years. They contain a number of hierarchical groups and monuments including the pyramids of King Senefru, the curve pyramid, and the northern pyramid or the Red Pyramid. The Pyramids of Senefru are the most important pyramids that illustrate the development of building the pyramids in Egypt. In Dahshur, you can see the pyramids of the Kings of the Middle Kingdom, including the Black Pyramid

Myself and my husband went on this tour with our great and friendly guide Mohammed and our driver Mahmud. Mohammed showed us some of the oldest pyramids and tombs in Egypt and was very knowledgeable of the ancient Egyptian history for Saqqara, Dahshur and Memphis. He also gave plenty of time for pics and took pictures for us. I would highly recommend to anyone who wants to have a great outing.Mohamad gave us a great historical overview and Egyptian history background and guided tour of Sakkara and Dahshur.

The mini van was clean with water in ice good English from our guide. I recommend this tour. If you add extras to your trip, like the text pyramid, I recommend you pay for your entrances yourself.

We loved everything about our tour with Mahmoud. He was an amazing storyteller who brought history for life. We asked him to add in (for a small cost) a side cisit to the Serappeum which he did and escorted us though. We also appreciated the communication ahead of time and prompt pick up. Our driver Omar was equally friendly, funny and took great care of us. He even cleaned up the van in between stops.
