What to expect
Most people who take the tour have never tried paddle boarding, so every tour begins with a ground demonstration and lesson. There is a calm bay where everyone will have a chance to try out their paddleboards and get comfortable. If you still do not feel feel comfortable, there are kayaks on site that you can use instead.
Your adventure will begin with a circle around an island, where you'll pass under seven bridges, through a Yatch Club and alongside Yachts. Then go through small and large canals close to shore, in relatively shallow water. You will pass through areas that have high concentrations of manatees and dolphins.
Tours includes all gear required and concludes at the original departure point. The tour is approximately two hours long, however, please allow for three hours when scheduling as sometimes the itinerary can be lengthened depending on manatee sightings.

- It is recommended you wear comfortable attire that you don't mind getting a little wet. Water shoes are also recommend, but most people do go barefoot

If you find out you are on a tour with Ryan, you will be blessed with unlimited dad jokes and all the info you want to know about the local sea life. If I could leave more than five stars, I would!It was an ok experience. It was a very windy day, that is all on Mother Nature, nothing to do with the tour company. It was an ok experience. It was a very windy day, that is all on Mother Nature, nothing to do with the tour company. However it would have been so much more enjoyable if it weren’t for the fact that half of our group were not at all experienced or even a little bit capable of this excursion. 5 out 11 people had to sit and wait, paddling in circles ina small area between footbridges more than half of the time waiting for these 5 or 6 people that could not make it. It made it a waste of our time and money and was not fair to the guide who could not possibly meet everyone’s expectations. My suggestion would be to at least ask, somewhere on the ticketing page for experience level and have specific times so people could at least try to signup for an appropriate level tour.We had a lovely mid-day tour with our guide Spence. We had a lovely mid-day tour with our guide Spence. Time spend on safety and instruction was perfect, direct and to the point. I've been on other tours where so much time felt wasted gearing people up, so this was refreshing. We're were first time paddle boarders, Spence gave us time to practice and get used to the board before we took off on the tour, it was easier than we thought it would be. We passed under a few bridges and stopped at a sandbar where we were able to see so many dolphins and a sea turtle. We stayed and watched for a good amount of time so we really got to watch and see the dolphins. Spence was easy going and shared little bits of information on the town and wildlife along the way. The tour felt personalized to our group. Great way to pass an afternoon.Our guide Mike was outstanding! He made sure my 10yo daughter had the right size board and paddle. He was very reassuring that if she was having any trouble he would give her a tow (which was not a problem for her at all). Neither of us had ever been paddle boarding before but had no trouble standing for the majority of the trip. We were able to see multiple dolphins and manatees, as well as quite a few different birds, starfish, and other ocean life.
