Full-Day Private Tour in Petra with Hotel Pick-Up
Overview
Morning pick up from your Dead Sea resort or your hotel in Amman(we suggest you start at 7 or 8 in the morning) in a modern air-conditioned vehicle with a friendly and informed driver, drive south to Petra (drive time is 3 hours). Upon reaching Petra, you will be introduced to your professional guide, and then start your guided tour, beginning with a walk through the long and winding Siq, until you catch your first glimpse of the impressive and imposing treasury, and marvel at impossible architecture that is over 2000 years old. Continue through the Street of Facades, the Roman Theater, the Royal Tombs till you reach Qasr Al Bint at the end of the colonnaded street, at which point your guided tour ends and you can either walk back to the gate to meet your driver for the voyage back, or spend some free time to relax or explore on your own before walking back to the gate and drive back to your resort.

Petra, the Rose-Red City, was the impressive capital of the Nabataean kingdom whose ruins remained hidden to most of the world until the Swiss explorer, JL Burckhardt, disguised as an Arab scholar, infiltrated the city in 1812. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site as well as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Meet your private guide at the site and hike or ride a horse down to the entrance of the Siq, a long, winding sandstone canyon that leads to the Treasury. The tour continues to the Street of Facades, the Roman Theater and the Royal Tombs.

Simplesmente maravilhoso, Ao chegar no cento de apoio de turista, você ainda não tem noção com o que vai se deparar. Existe a possibilidade de você fazer o percurso a pé (+ ou - 3,5 km) para as atrações principais, ou você pode pagar pelo percurso a cavalo, charrete ou camelo, a opção é sua! Fomo...
Simplesmente maravilhoso, Ao chegar no cento de apoio de turista, você ainda não tem noção com o que vai se deparar. Existe a possibilidade de você fazer o percurso a pé (+ ou - 3,5 km) para as atrações principais, ou você pode pagar pelo percurso a cavalo, charrete ou camelo, a opção é sua! Fomos caminhando olhando as belezas naturais, bem como parávamos nas lojinhas locais para ver as lembrancinhas do local e também para comprar água ou gatorete (muito importante), pois o calor é insuportável, aproximadamente 37 à 41 graus! Caminha-se entre as colunas rochosas e no alto das mesmas o sol bate e sua cor fica de um amarelo ouro incrivel, embora seja chamada da "cidade rosa". O apice do local, é quando do nada, você se avista com o templo (sem palavras) diante de tanta imponência, beleza sem igual. Parada obrigatória para fotos, para uma entrada nas diversas lojinhas existentes no local e claro, pagar por uma foto especial e que te entregar no ponto de apoio ao turista. Após, segue-se explorando o local, ainda com inúmeras cavernas, gravuras em rochas contando as historias das caravanas. Um dos momentos mais bonitos, foi o encontro com um garoto beduíno que entoou um canto fantástico! Imperdível a visita a Petra!Irene T

Ho trovato questa agenzia leggendo le ottime recensioni su Tripadvisor, e posso dire che l’ho trovata fantastica su tutti i fronti anche mettendola in confronto con altre agenzie sia giordane che italiane. Grazie alle veloci risposte di Victoria C. siamo riusciti in pochissimo tempo ad programmare il nostro fantastico tour di 5 giorni per 2 persone verso Amman, Petra Wadi Rum e Mar Morto. L’organizzazione è stata perfetta, dall’intesa con Victoria, all’incontro con il rappresentante dell’agenzia all’aeroporto che ha sbrigato per noi tutte le formalità per il visto, alla nostra guida Husam S. con un van tutto per noi, agli alberghi veramente belli e confortevoli (Amman “Toledo Hotel”, Petra “Petra Guest House”, Wadi Rum “SunCity Camp”, tutti di ottimo livello). Jordan Select Tours ci ha fornito il visto, gli accessi a tutti i siti richiesti, le guide locali ove necessario. Victoria ci ha splendidamente consigliato anche delle attività che abbiamo subito inserito nel nostro tour: un corso di cucina a Petra molto divertente e una serata degustazione vini a Amman per provare una nuova esperienza. Husam durante il viaggio, in un ottimo italiano, ci ha fatto scoprire la Giordania raccontandoci la storia, la cultura e le usanze della sua terra. E’ stato un dono prezioso averlo conosciuto. Nel deserto di Wadi Rum abbiamo scelto il giro in 4x4 di 6 ore. Inizialmente pensavamo fossero troppe 6 ore, ma è stata l’esperienza più bella della vacanza sentire il silenzio e prendere un tè nel deserto al tramonto preparato su un fuoco improvvisato. Absolutely amazing. We were whizzed through the airport skipping the queue with the visa all prepared and ready. And the most lovely and professional guide who took us around all of Jordan showing us the sites. Couldn't recommended Jordan as a country or JS as a tour guide enough
