Relax and take it all in at Punalu’u Black Sand Beach, a great place to spot marine life from the shore, like Hawaii’s green sea turtles.

Drew was really good. One of the best Tour guides I have ever had. He really likes his job, even after 10 hours of leading the tour. The tour is a great way to see the island, learn about its diversity and learn a lot about it and its history. I can totally recommend it for a start.

Our day started with an on time pick-up at our hotel and ended almost 13 hrs later with a drop-off in the same spot. What transpired during this time was a totally enjoyable, informative & entertaining excursion led by Dreu. His passion & knowledge was truly apparent in his narrative, story & legend telling, and tips he provided. We never felt rushed and appreciated the numerous restroom stops and Dreu’s attention to details. The van was comfortable and the USB port & cup holders were convenient. The weather was almost perfect with only light drizzle in Volcanoes National Park but after dinner the view of the “glow” & star gazing was clear & amazing, wow! The provided lunch, snacks & drinks, and dinner were all good. Tips: bring long pants & jacket for the evening; a small flashlight for walk through the lava tube; and if you don’t pack a jacket, one can be provided. Amazing tour of Hawaii!! Black sand beach, turtles, volcanoes, stargazing!! Our guide, Aaron, was super knowledgeable and courteous. We even saw the Southern Cross! Fulfilled many bucket lists. Totally recommend!!!!!

Don't be intimidated by booking a 13 hour tour! Every single minute is worth the trip. This tour is a great way to see a vast majority of the Island and learn a ton about the Volcanos on the Island (we saw the glowing lava at night, so cool!), the island's coffee's history, seeing the beautiful...

This tour is a great way to see a vast majority of the Island and learn a ton about the Volcanos on the Island (we saw the glowing lava at night, so cool!), the island's coffee's history, seeing the beautiful black sand beaches and some sea turtles if you're lucky like we did! And so much more.. Our tour guide Dreu was amazing, he was a fountain of knowledge who was funny and fun! In between stops Dreu continued to teach us about the legends of Hawaii, the Island's history, lil stories we would not know unless Dreu shared with us. Dreu is passionate about giving his tourists a tour of a life time and he delivered. Thank you Dreu and Wasabi tours!
