This was an amazing tour and one of the best we have ever done!!! Marcel was our guide and was exceptionally knowledgeable and organized, and he immediately created a rapport with our small group of 6. He made it so easy to meet with clear instructions. His storytelling and knowledge made every masterpiece interesting. I would highly recommend this tour and more importantly, having Marcel be the tour guide!

Our guide Cecile was very knowledgeable about both the history of the museum and the artwork. We were expertly guided through the museum. We had no wait to enter as there was a special line. This tour is definitely worth the money!!!

The tour with Ivana was thorough and informative. We really enjoyed learning about the french history spanning multiple centuries, and especially the in-depth session on Mona Lisa. We were also glad that we were able to skip the line completely and entered the museum through a side entrance because even at 10am there was a long queue.

Romain’s enthusiasm and knowledge base MADE this tour for me, and my teen daughters. He knew exactly where to go to show us the best highlights, super efficient so we saw and experienced as much as possible in our 3 hr tour. I would hire him for ANY tour he gave, regardless of the subject matter/location. He kept it so interesting, with great backstories (rooted in deep study on his part, clearly). Highly recommended!!!! Going with a guide is the only way to enjoy the best of the Louvre in half a day. If that’s the time you have, book with Viator…maybe you’ll be fortunate enough to get Romain as your guide!!!
