As I was traveling alone, without this tour I would not be able to walk around areas where not many tourists are and have local street food. All dishes and drinks I tasted were delicious and I wish I had a bigger stomach to eat more. Alberto was very friendly and taught me not only about street food but also history of the city. I was in Quito for only one day, and I really glad that I joined this tour.Delicious food and great company - what a lovely way to get to know Quito. Delicious food and great company - what a lovely way to get to know Quito. Ernesto was friendly, knowledgeable about the city and the people and thoughtful about my needs. The tour was well structured and covered all parts of the city from the main tourist area to the back streets - from outdoor food stalls to a bohemian cafe. The food itself was diverse - and always delicious. Most of all I wanted to connect with the place and the people - and Ernesto happily answered my questions and we had lots of interesting conversations. It was the first day of my trip and it was engaging, informative, relaxed and very very enjoyable.Ernesto was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and gave us a great tour showing us Quito’s wonderful street food. Highly recommend!

THE BEST way to orient yourself to a new city is to take a food tour. We have taken similar tours in Porto, Lisbon, Sevilla, etc. This tour did not disappoint! Ernesto is a knowledgeable guide, not only on food, but on Quito/Ecuadorean history. We ate true Ecuadorean food with natives and enjoyed every minute. Eat NADA before you start - the portions are generous! A lot of walking, so wear good shoes. You will love it! Gracias, Ernesto. Hasta la próxima vez….I had so much fun. I had so much fun. I tasted all kinds of food and had an amazing chocolate in the beginning and end of the trip. And the desert was so perfect, passion fruit & coffee icecream. So perfect. Nicolás was so much fun and I was really happy with him as my guide. Some places were closed since it was December 26th but he always had a plan b and c.
