This tour was so much fun! They go at your pace and don’t rush you. Taj was an amazing tour guide. He made the experience and reassured me every step of the way. He was easy to talk to and very knowledgable. My favourite was sand surfing and dune bashing. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Ismail gave us an amazing driving experience. He is very skilled at dune driving. We did not ride the camels or sand surf (our choice) however it was offered. Excellent way to see the real desert. Ismail explained the culture of Qatar and helped us understand their way of life, especially their family life. I highly recommend this option. It gave us the opportunity to see modern day Qatar and the Qatar of previous generations.

We had an amazing time! My four year old loved all the activities. Zaqir was an awesome guide, he took great care of us and was very personable and kind. He also talked us through everything and was very helpful.

The camel riding is pretty mediocre and is over pretty quick, as someone simply walks you in a circle for a photo opp. I didn't participate with the falcons, as they are inhumanely tied by a leg to a stick and have their eyes covered all the time. By far, the best part is the 4x4 driving up and down the desert dunes. Skillful, high-speed driving hitting some crazy angles, which is exciting. My main area of dissatisfaction was that the driver pushes you to write a review WHILE STILL IN THE VEHICLE, and even demands that you send him a screenshot - since you are still in the vehicle far from your dropoff, it feels that you have no choice but to give a positive review if you wish to be dropped off. This is a terrible practice that NO CUSTOMER wants as part of their experience. For this reason, I cannot recommend this tour.

We literally booked the night before for a 9am pick up and there were no issues. Our driver Taj Khan had arrived before 9am and he kindly waited for us until we were ready. Once we got in the car we were briefed on what the itinerary was and then started making our way. First stop was the camel rides, camels were ready waiting, locals try selling you the scarfs (which is payable to them and not included). There is also Falcons there (which again to hold and take a picture with is an additional 20QAR). After the camel ride, which lasts no longer than 5 mins (plus the men walking the camel will take pictures for you) Taj gave us some tea and then the fun began. We got back in the car and Taj turned to us and cheekily said "put your seatbelts on" and off we went...up and over, around the sand dunes. He had local music playing and got the vibes perfectly right. Very skilful and experienced driver and he seemed like he was enjoying making us laugh and scream with joy. Along the way he gave us a tour of the sand dunes, stopping at all the hotspots to get some great pictures. Stopped at a spot for some Sand-boarding and also inland sea. I would definitely recommend this excursion/trip and with this company too, even my 4 year old daughter enjoyed it!

It was amazing ! Noor took us at time, told us about Doha. Then was very high adrenaline trip in desert , me and my husband were impressed by Noor’s skill of driving! We also had a trip on camel) During the trip Noor was very attentive and we had water and also tea. It was on of the most impressive excursions )

Asim is a great tour guide. We enjoyed the tour especially dune bashing and sand boarding. Highly recommended. Would definitely come back again.

Excellent Trip with Taj, the camel, the dunes, the sandboard and the experience! We got a text message 15’ prior to our pick up where Taj introduced himself and told us that he was waiting for us. During the whole trip Taj looked very well after us and adapted his driving in the dunes so that it was manageable with a baby. It was an excellent half day trip where you get to see the beauty of the landscape of Qatar.

This was my second time taking a desert safari through this company and I must say that it was a very different experience with the second driver. The first trip back in January was professional and fun but the tour guide assigned to me for the March 30th trip was very unpleasant. I had booked the tour for pick up from my hotel at 2 pm, but the driver called me on WhatsApp at 10:30 pm the night before saying he was going to pick us up between 3 to 3:30 pm instead. The day of the tour I did not hear from the driver, he hadn't shown up at the hotel by 3:45 so I started calling him on his WhatsApp number but did not get an answer. I then reached out to the messenger contact option on Viator to ask if a driver was still coming because I was concerned that no one was going to show up. The driver eventually arrived at 4 pm (2 hours past the initial pick up time) and was immediately confrontational about the fact that I had reached out to Viator to let them know he hadn't arrived. He had a screenshot of my message from the Viator website and demanded that I delete it and leave him a good review. He repeatedly demanded that I leave him a good review and send him a screenshot of it throughout the tour and I honestly felt like he would not let me leave his car until I had shown him a review. I was initially a little scared to leave a review at all because the driver knows what hotel I am at and he was so confrontational and aggressive towards me on the tour I was afraid he might seek me out if I left a bad review about him. The tour itself was cut short because it was nearly sunset by the time we reached the desert and on the way back to Doha the driver made us sit in his car in a parking lot alongside the highway for about 20 minutes so he could break his fast. He gave us tea and insisted over and over again that we must drink it even though we had already told him multiple times that we do not drink tea and did not want tea. Overall this driver was very rude and made the tour an unpleasant experience. Please inform the tour guides to not demand reviews from the guests and to at least communicate if they are going to be arriving late.

The warm welcome, camel ride and the sand drifts will always be in my heart and memory. We took remarkable pictures with friends, dessert safari is a uniting place to go every time

The desert safari is breathtaking. Camel riding , drifting, the the sea line beach , its just amazing , me and my friends had a lifetime experience. Not to forget the driver is such an expert , I will do more of this.
