Our family LOVED the rum and chocolate tasting with Renato at Lunático! As total rum newbies, we learned so much about rum and appreciated learning the history of the region from this unique perspective. Renato is a fantastic storyteller, not to mention quite generous with his pours! The location is stunning with a view of historic sites and Lunático’s restaurant with delicious tapas we enjoyed afterwards. Most importantly, Renato was super flexible with accommodating us while traveling with our 2 year old, even scheduling with us earlier in the evening to accommodate her bedtime! She got to enjoy all of the different delicious chocolates while we tasted the rums. It was really a treat to have this one of a kind grown up experience in Cartagena while traveling with little one. (But would also obviously be amazing with no toddler in tow!) Highly, highly recommend, 5 stars!We absolutely loved this experience and highly recommend to anyone visiting Cartagena! The host was really well informed and he made history really interesting, or was it the fabulous rum that we were having. And the chocolate pairing was out of this world. It was incredible how the chocolate made the rum taste so much better and tasting the different fruity notes and wood accents just blew my mind.
